Round 1 : Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Blake (Mr. Tie)

Ok people! Rulings time! What happens to the official 3 round duel in the event of a tie? Well Blake had me 1-0 (his advantage) and I tied him 2nd round with a Ring of Destruction. Well the most official judge, who gets his stuff official from upperdeck because hes on the demo team (my “arch enemy” Serf – who for some reason is seen as the evil one by the masses who see him on the current Top 10 list for Season 2) said that I have to win the third duel, beating my opponents highest life points at the end of the first (his win) duel.

For example: Round 1: His life points: 8000, 7300, 6600, 5900, 5200

                                    Bandit Keif: 8000, 6100, 7200, 3900, 1500, 0

                        Round 2: His life points: 8000, 4100, 0

                                    Bandit Keif: 8000, 5300, 0

Since he ended with 5200 life points on round one, and we both ended with zero round two. For me to win the three match set I would have to win the third match with 5300 life points. Twisted huh? I still think that my “arch enemy” Serf had it in for me with that cruel and unusual ruling. Whatever, skills came through and I foiled his plan to eliminate me by winning with exactly 5300 life points.

            Round 2: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Nate N. (A – 1 Supreme, Sacramento’s finest)

Props to the A-1 Supreme for coming down from Sacramento (see that all you losers people email me but never come through!?! These guys are for real, no joke) Because of the K Force unprecedented attack on Roseville, A-1 Supreme retaliated today by coming 7 people deep ready to rail and take the tournament. They competed fiercely but none made it passed third round.

This was the Sacramento Toy’s R Us parking lot all over again, well without the crazy disheveled convict coming up to us with a knife hidden in his sock. He must have been crazy; he went up to 5 guys in a dark parking lot asking for one of us for a ride to a “hospital”. Yea right, he defiantly would have got his ass kicked.

While we’re on the subject of ass kicking, my Student of Redline has been stopping the show lately. That changed today after the K Force Mecca to Roseville. We stepped up to the huge box tournament challenge and made it to Finals Chapter - The Continuing Battle of the Dukes. We came back with a renewed vigor, started the railing and although this show was almost stopped, The Show Must Go On!

Round 3: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Steffon (The Black Joker)

Steffen got iced. Now for the real news… after the duels I got to play Nick (A-1 Supreme) again, with his real deck. It was a definite improvement over the Anti Exodia beat that he played me with the first time we met, but his dueling time was cut short by a bored girlfriend. Ouch, oh well that’s the way things go. See ya around bud. Hey Nate, Adam “The Hater” was there today right? Damn, I didn’t get a chance to duel him. I was eating Taco Bell.

Round 4: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Kevo Kaiba (K Force 1)

This was the semi finals, the big time. 3 K Force made it, me, Kevo and Ricky. We knew that this prize was took. It was up to Ricky to win his bracket and it’s over! I eliminated the visitors and Kevo eliminated the local dueling group Avalanche. Oh yea, Avalanche guys… the Dark Elves in his deck aren’t for a wall. He’s not afraid to attack with them! Watch out! Well, couldn’t say I didn’t warn you. Spears, Gemini’s, Chasers got railed on by his authentic mix of Suicide Beat. Yea, that’s right, it’s what “everyone” was supposed to run Season 2 when the “Mall Tour Master Duelists” came to town but no one had the balls to use it.

Round 5: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Ricky (K Force 1 – Hidden Dragon)

We took the prize, split it but we were still missing one pack because it split oddly! Damnit the store only gives out 5 for first and 3 for second! How the hell could they screw that up. It’s coo, that’s my home store, I’ll go there next week and everything will be fixed. After the tournament, me and Ricky did the match and found out that our store is skimping all the players on the prizes!

32 person tournament               32 packs                      5 packs for 1st              3 for 2nd

                        X         5 dollars entrance                     3 dollars / pack             3 dollars / pack             3 dollars / pack

                                    160 dollars                   -           96                    -           15                    -           9

1 for 3rd (both of them)

                                    3 dollars / pack

                                    - 6                                = $126

Man did I do that right guys? Everyone who plays at the store knows, correct me if I’m wrong, but it wouldn’t be terribly hard to hold a box tournament! Box bought by a store is definitely maximum $70 dollars. Am I right? I think we should, all the expert regulars who agree, we’ll be in touch.

Hey Serf, the Sacramento guys weren’t heard you were buying cards now and they’ll give you a good deal. I told them that you had your eye on full sets. And that you’ll pay top dollar for it. He’s on a buying rampage people!
