Okay,
I’m missing a lot of key cards (Raigekis, Swords of Revealing Light, etc.) but,
basically this deck depends on speed, and has the two Summoned Skulls for backup
power.
Anyways,
the rules are
-No
Japanese allowed
-Official
rules, and restrictions
So I
walk in and sign up, but the tournament judge says I’m too late, and that all
slots are closed. I start to grumble since the tournament starts in 30 minutes.
Oh well, next time, so I decide to stay, and trade and
duel.
So I
walk up start talking to some guy named Kevin, and we decide to
duel…
Match
1
Duel
One
He
runs a basic beatdown with some cards to backup such as Fairy Meteor Crush, and
the like, he also tends to side deck in burner cards.
Dark
Winged (Me): 8000-7000-5900
Kevin:8000-6000-4200-600-0
I
really don’t remember much, but I kept score and just remember that I hit him
with Elves, And Harpies Brother, and whenever he summoned monsters, they either
hit Man Eater Bug, Trap Hole, Wall, of died with Fissure. The only damage I took
was when he Fairy Meteor Crushed my Man-Eater with Battle
Ox.
Duel
Two
Dark
Winged:8000-4000-3000
Kevin:8000-3600-1800-800-0
Now
this duel I took a lot of self-damage, by Jirai, and Elves.
At one
point I had two Jirais on the field, and I Fissured his only monsters, a Dark
Fire Soldier. I won the first flip,
but lost the second. Also I remembered Mystic Space Typhooning his Mirror Force,
and Magic Jammered his Raigeki.
Overall:
Win, Score 2-0
Well,
in between duels I talked with some kid, and traded him for Swords of Revealing
Light. Wahey!! Anyways, I added Sorl to my deck, and walked up to Trevor, we sat
down, and dueled.
Match
2
Duel
One
Trevor
runs a Harpies Lady/Air beatdown; he loves to power his air monsters, with
Bladefly,
Rising Air Current, and Nuzzler
Dark
Winged:8000-7000-6000-
Trevor:8000-6000-4000-
This
duel was pretty quick, he didn’t draw any good cards, or monsters, but when he
did they were all removed, also I kept attacking with my Elves,
and
Finished
him off with Gumo.
Duel
Two
Dark
Winged:8000-6050-5050
Trevor:8000-7000-6000-2400-0
Bleh,
thid duel was the exact opposite of last game, so all I could do was stall with
Walls, at one point he hit me with Harpies Lady Sisters.
Then I
was able to hit him with my 1800 attackers, and Elves.
Overall:Win,
Score 2-0
Well
we talked, traded, and went our separate ways, then I dueled Tristan,
whose
every
move, was told to do by Will, another great duelist, who doesn’t have all the
cards, such as me.
Match
3
Duel
One
Tristan
runs an stall/burner, with cards such as Giant Soldier, which get annoying, when
you smack into them.
Dark Winged:8000-6000
Tristan:8000-4000-1800-800-
Well,
one again I did all my damage to myself, with Elves of
course.
I
cleared the field and hit with two Elves, and Gumo, but it got annoying when I
kept running into Wall, and Mystic Elf.
Duel
Two
Dark
Winged:8000-4000
Tristan:8000-7000-6000-4000-0
Well,
I remember I kept hitting him with walls, and eventually I was able to send out
my stronger hitters. I thought remember I lost a Jirai Flip, and he ended up
blocking my attack with Waboku.
Well,
after I finished him off, he sorta started to get mad, and kept asking me for a
rematch, and if he won he would get to keep Swords,
Now I
would have dueled him if he kept his cool, and he started cussing at
me
Until,
well, I walked into one of the tournament judges
accidently.
He
ended up getting kicked out ^^’
Overall:Win,
Score 2-0
Well,
tired from dueling I decided to walk up to David, who was starting to
gather
Up
quite a crowd, because he had anihilated all his oppoents,
And
had won last weeks tournament (or so I heard)
So,
unsure, since he had a bye, I challenged him to a duel.
Match
Four
David
runs an beatdown, this guy has everything, Axes, Chasers,
Reigeki.
Duel
One
Dark
Winged:8000-7000-6000-2400-600-0
David:8000-6000-4000-2000-1000
Okay
this was an exctiting duel, we kept sending monsters against each other, with
Fissures, and Trap Holes destroying each other
Waboku
saved me many times. I was able to hit him with Elves a couple of
times,
Then
at one point when I had a Wall, I could have won by using Change fo
Heart,
But he
countered with Solemn Judgement. Dang, but still I got him with
Wall
Then
next turn he uses Raigeki, then used Mst on my face
Down
Mirror Force, and flipped a Wall for the win
Duel
Two
Dark
Winged:8000-7000-6000
David-8000-4000-1800-0
This
time I drew the perfect cards, I was able to clear his field and Heavy Stormed
his field which has Waboku, and Mirror Force, I used Mst
on a
face down Enchated Javelin, I also won my Jiraia flips, and negated his
Raigeki,
which
would have won the duel, so then I play Change fo heart,
which
is a Man-Eater,so I tribute for Skull and win.
Duel
Three
Dark
Winged:8000-4000-2200-400-100
David:8000-5800-4000-400-0
One of
my greates duels of all time, our monsters were even and kepyt smacking and
destroying each other.
My
best move was when I Mst his Mirror Force
He
attacks my face down Magician of Faith, get back Mst, my turn,
get
back Mst, and hit a face down Waboku which would have stopped his life from
reaching 0
Overall:Win,
Score 2-0
Well,
we cingratulated each other, shook other peoples hands, talked to David and he
went to his next duel, which I watched, it turned out this was the finals, and
he was playing Takahasi, who runs an
Exodia
deck. David ended up winning the first duel, lost second,
Then
won the third by 300 life.
Well,
my mom came, and told me it was 7:00, meaning I had to go.
Well I
said my byes, traded last, and left.
Well,
I had a great tourney experience, even thought I wasn’t
in.
I did
get some good cards such as Swords, and Giant Trunade, which Im gonna trade for
another Storm, hopefully
Well,
anyways, heres my revised deck, enjoy
