This is my 4th Tourney Report and my most successful one yet. I hope you like it.
Round 1: 32 Participants left (Quartersemiprequalification Round)
Me (Exodia’s Revenge) vs. Gary (Turtle Burner)
$H!T!!! I have to duel Gary in the FIRST ROUND!!! I knew by then I wouldn’t be able to win. Gary was just too frickin hard.
Duel 1: He didn’t know I was running an Exodia deck until after the 1st Round. I didn’t have any Exodia pieces in my opening hand. Luckily, I pulled both of my Solemn Wishes early thus making it quite difficult for Gary to penetrate my life points. I was fortunate enough to Trap Hole his Catapult Turtle’s, but he was able to pull Cannon Soldier and launch all of his creatures. I got my Witch and Critter’s out and pulled all of Exodia within 9 turns.
Duel 2: Once I saw him grab his sidedeck, I knew he was bringing in his Exodia killing cards. I knew this one would be harder because I dueled him with someone else’s Exodia deck (long story) and he creamed me within three turns (The Forceful Sentry, Soul Release, Confiscation, Delinquent Duo, etc. etc.) I immediately had my hopes up seeing three Exodia pieces and a witch next to a sangan in my opening hand. I drew Trap Hole. I set Trap Hole and the Witch. He played Raigeki (yay!) 4th piece. He tried summoning one of his three mechanicalchasers (curse the season one ultra rare that further eludes me) but I trap holed it. My turn. I drew Pot of Greed. I played it and drew labyrinth wall and the shallow grave. Ding! The duel was mine I played the shallow grave and brought back the witch which I then sacraficed for labyrinth wall pulling the final piece.
With Gary out, the tourney was mine (except for Gary’s sons, Aaron and Steven).
Round 2: 16 Participants left (Quartersemifinals)
Me (Exodia’s Revenge) vs. Todd (Skyscraping 247 card deck(I counted))
Todd was this sleazy little kid who was seven tears old and wanted his revenge ever sinced I booted him out in the first round three tournaments ago. Back then his deck was big enough to compete with the empire state building. What’s really sad is, it still is.
Duel 1: He wasn’t any better now than he was three tournaments ago. I beat him down with my witch and sangans within 5 turns.
Duel 2: Same as Duel 1 except he actually did me damage with a stupid tremendous fire.
Round 3: 8 Participants left (Quarterfinals)
Me (Exodia’s Revenge) vs. RJ (Random ???)
I was AMAZED RJ made it this far. I crushed him in two turns last time we dueled and this time was no different.
Duel 1: I pulled exodia within one turn considering the whole thing was in my opening hand (I told him he shoulda cut my deck).
Duel 2: Same as before only it took a little longer. He used REALLY stupid cards like Psychic Kappa and Science Soldier. I had him in about 4-5 turns.
Round 4: 4 Participants left (Semi-finals)
Me (Exodia’s Revenge) vs. Nobody
I gotta bye this round because my opponent got sick and had to leave.
Round 5: 2 Participants left (Finals)
Me (Exodia’s Revenge) vs. Steven (Defensive Beatdown)
I was pumped and ready to face Steven. I knew what facing a defensive beatdown deck was like and I knew this wouldn’t last very long. Steven was good but his deck was REALLY weak against an Exodia deck. He was lucky to not face one up till now.
Duel 1: Since this one was my favorite duel of the whole tournament, I’ll explain it in detail. My opening hand consisted of: The Head, Messenger of Peace, Giant Trunade, The Shallow Grave, and Imperial Order. I went first and drew Jammer. I set it along with Imperial Order. He played Heavy Storm which I Jammered. paying Giant Trunade. He played another Heavy Storm and naturally Ordered it. He set a monster and ended his turn. I drew Labyrinth Wall and ended. He set another monster and ended his turn once more. I drew and set Gravity Bind. He flipped two Aqua Madoors and played Cannon Soldier. When he attacked with Aqua Madoor #,1 I flipped Gravity Bind. I drew Heavy Storm and ended. His hopes rose and played defense as well a moving all of his other monsters to defense. I drew right arm and set it. He played defense once more. I pulled Raigeki. Everyone behind me laffed really hard and I tributed my Arm (I know that didn’t sound right) to play the maze in DEF. Then I played Raigeki. He got really pissed off and the judge disqualified him for flipping me off and cussing at me. He would have lost anyway becuase with my next 4 card he would have lost (4 exodia pieces)
For winning the tournament I got 3 Tourney packs and 4 Pharaoh’s Servant. I got Chain Destruction in the Pharaoh’s Servant and crap in the other 3. I the tourney packs, I got Dragon Seeker and Giant Red Seasnake and crap in the 3rd one.
Props:
-Winning 1st
-Getting 3 Tourney packs and getting Dragon Seeker and Giant Red Seasnake in 2 out of 3.
-Getting 4 Pharoah’s Servant and getting Chain Destruction in one of them.
-Creaming Gary in the first round.

-Giving myself the reputation as "The most feared duelist in Portola".
Slops:
