Trades: I made the all time trade ever! I traded my magic jammer for a person’s spare Raigeki! I’ve always needed one…I also traded my LOB REBD for an Axe of Despair! This gave me more confidence for the upcoming matches.
Without further adieu, let the tourney begin!
Round One: Me vs. noOb with 60 card deck
The guy I was playing against had low attack mons and an unfocused deck. I put out the swords turn 1 each time so I could eat away with white magical hat and a powered up Hayabusa Knight to win the match. I didn’t even have to use GB.
1-0
Round Two: Me vs. little kid with toon burner
This match accounts for the most amazing move I’ve ever made in a duel, which I’ll explain below. this is all thanks to Hayabusa knight. The first duel had him final flaming me and getting a toon mermaid out. However, he forgot that it can’t attack the turn it’s summoned, so it was left defenseless to my raigeki and Jinzo#7 assualt. Hayabusa also got in a few hits. The next duel was incredible. On the third turn, I powered up Hayabusa to 3700 and attacked twice for a total of 7400 damage in one shot! He then conceded the match.
2-0
Round Three: Me vs. deck with way too many high level mons.
(BTW, I beat him three times before the tourney!)
In my practice duels with this guy, I had totally shut him down every time with GB because he had little to no level 3 monsters in his deck. However, he did manage to get a lead on me early when he remove trapped my Bind and snatch stealed my 2200 atk Jinzo#7. In a draw of faith, I manage to pull MST and I snatched my Jinzo back. I then used hayabusa knight with a retrieved axe to attack for 4000 and the victory.
3-0
I got the bye for round four, so I watched the other four players duke it out. I also got some skittles in the meantime to refuel….
Round 5: Me vs. Life gain/beatdown
This was one of the most intense duels I’ve ever fought, with both of us negating like crazy with imperial order. He got out Jinzo and a skull against me at a time, but I got out SORL and raigeki’d them away. The reason he lost was that he used solemn judgment against me twice. on to the finals!
4-0
Final Round: Me vs. Turbo Beatdown
I had dueled this guy before the tourney, and he was so fast that I couldn’t get my bind out. Anyway, he managed to beat me in the first round by negating my magic and double crossouting my defenses. In the second duel, I was cornered by his revived skull, when I managed to activate my michizure to destroy it, which would have given me the chance to win, but all this ended when a Seven Tools was shoved in my face. Tourney ended with me getting 2nd. Not too bad!
Prize was 5 boosters of my choice.
Props
to bigfoots for running such big tourneys
to Hayabusa Knight for winning most of my duels for me!
to the guy who traded his goddess of whim to me for my Buster Blader.
Slops
to the PSV boosters that I got that had all rares that I had already….
Thanks for posting this report, Pojo!
