This is my first tourney report, but not my first time at getagame.com .about 40 people attended, including my old friend Carnegie. the prizes were set up in a way that the 1st place recieves $20 store credit, 2nd gets $15, and 3rd gets $10.Everyone else in the top ten received a free booster of their choice. Everyone got a TP2 pack.
round one: me vs. Ricky
I faced ricky 2 weeks ago with my burner
deck. He beat me two duels in a row last time, but this week was going to
change. we started off good. In the first duel he used imperial order to counter some of my magic cards and then on his next turn discarded
it. I kept destroying his monsters with my monster removal cards and reborned his summoned skull to beat him in the first
duel. In the second duel, i remember flipping cyber jar and seeing that he gets imperial order again. he sets it down and its my turn. I know he has imperial order set, so I play fissure. He counters it
and I just keep defending and attacking with my monsters. He made a big mistake this duel. His IO made him lose about 3000 life points, so after he discarded it, i just blasted away with my good magics and monsters, and once again reborning his Summoned Skull for the win.
round 2: me vs. weenie rush
this guy was
really annoying. his jinzo #7s with axes of despair and robbin' goblins pissed me off in the first duel. None of my good cards came out. He ended up beating me in the first duel 6300-0. The second duel was different. I raigeki'ed his 4 weenie monsters and just blasted away with both my hayabusa's with equips and
even sangan and masked sorcerer. I win. The third was almost exactly the same and I advance to the 3rd(!) round.
round three: me vs. puffy
This is my first time fighting puffy, but he was good. He has some kind of weenie rush that makes sure you don't attack him. He had all three of his waboku's in the frist round and killed me with a jinzo#7 with 2 axe's of
despairs. The second duel he beat me i forgot how, but he showed me what he had on his
magic, trap field. A magic jammer, 7 tools, and even a solemn judgement.Scary.
oh well... this is still the highest ive ever gotten here. 9th place. I got a magic ruler and got Blue eyes toon dragon! then, i traded my extra fiend megacyber and time wizard for swords and nobleman of crossout
