This kid was one of my students, and if he got through his first round I said I would buy him a pack.
In
my hand were a Nimble Momonga, a Summoned Skull, a GAF, a Raigeki, and another
card. I started by playing a Nimble
face down. He attacked it, raised my
points by 1000, and I got 2 more Nimbles out.
Next turn I played Summoned Skull and Raigeki. Direct Damage. Everything went downhill after that.

This
game he started by playing a Dean Keto to increase his points to 9000 then he
played a monster facedown. On my turn,
I played Dark Hole and GAF and brought him down to 6700. Just then, he activated his facedown trap
card, Robin Goblin! He also used Change
of Heart to control my GAF and knock me down to 5700. This is the turning point in the match! When out of the 5 cards in my hand, he pulled Jinzo out w/ his
Robin Goblin (I almost told him to take that out before the match). On my turn I played a monster facedown and
ended my turn. He used Dark Hole and
pulled some weak monster on me bring my points down to 4900. The next card he took out with Robin Goblin
was my other GAF! (What is the deal with this kid? I said he would get better, but I didn’t mean this fast!) His little winning streak didn’t last
long. In few short turns I finished him
of with a Nimble and a Kycoo.

It’s
so hard to eliminate one of your own students like that (sniff).

vs. Super
Saiyan David
From
the start, I knew that this was going to be a long match! David had won the tournament last week
against Andy. In fact, I started
packing up my stuff because I knew I’d be out of here soon.
I
started by playing my Gemini Elf in attack mode and a Scapegoat facedown. He used Heavy Storm then Raigeki. Then he played his GE and attacked. Next, I played Dark Hole and GAF and
attacked. On his turn he played a
monster facedown. I summoned my Skull
and played Monster Reborn to reborn my GAF.
I attacked with GAF to reveal a WotBF.
Then I attacked with Skull. He
used TTTD on my Skull then attacked GAF with Speer Dragon. Eventually, I pulled out my Nimble, which
led more Nimbles, which led to Jinzo and victory!

This
game started just like the last round. Soon he diminished me with his Speer
Dragon and didn’t stop.

This
game was the closest one yet. I can
only remember being saved by my Nimbles at 300 points. Looking at the scores I think it was a GAF
and a Nimble that did him in.

Believe
it or not, this was my only Round 3 duel in the whole tournament!

SEMIFINAL
MATCH!
TiM_FeRNo vs. Devon
I
didn’t know how he pronounced his name so I just spelled it the best I
could. Devon was 15 (same as me). He was shorter yet older by a few months.
This
game was brutal! He didn’t even nip me!
If you looked at the scores you could see it dropping by 2000 every time! It looks like I finished him of with a
Summoned Skull, but I’m not sure.
TiM_FeRNo: 8000 (untouchable!)

In
this game I started out with my Nimbles and was able to get my score up to
10000 with them before I brought out my Jinzo.
Then I brought back my Hayabusa Knight that I have discarded with
Charity and attacked. On his turn, he
pulled a Dark Elf and brought it up to 5400 ATK w/ the help of 2 Malevolent
Nuzzlers and a Megamorph. He had a
choice to attack my Jinzo, my Nimble Momonga, or my Hayabusa Knight. In the end, he chose… Hayabusa Knight. Now I was in trouble. I had to pull some kind super powerful card. And I did… Harpie’s Feather Duster! Destroying all his little accessories, I
soon brought him down to 300 with Jinzo and a Nimble. He didn’t have anything he could do. I suggested he surrender, but he said no and played his last card
facedown (What is up with that! Why
does every person I duel keep trying to defeat me even after I have diminished
him or her and there’s no way to turn the tide? The world is to dang faithful!).
So, I defeated his Sangan and his life points w/ a rampaging, winged
skeleton with horns and his pet squirrel.
What a way to lose.

vs. The
Untouchable Andy Wankerfield
“Wankerfield”
isn’t actually Andy’s last name, but it suited him. Andy is kind of the king around here, ever since I gave him a
deck that he turned it into a mean, green, wanking machine (for those who don’t
know what the term “wanking” means, it is the act of being a “wanker”, which is
a word I made up that describes Andy for turning my twenty-five cent deck into
his demon deck that beats me out of the tournament every week!). Wanker!
Did
you ever wonder how it felt for someone to counter almost everything you threw
at him? This is exactly why I he
deserves the name Wankerfield! He uses
a direct damage deck that uses every direct damage card in the game. Can you believe an Ookazi defeated me?
TiM_FeRNo: 0
Andy:
3800 (Wanker!)
This
match is hard to remember, but I know he brought out a bandwagon of monsters w/
cyber jar and slaughtered me.
Wanker! After the match, I
realized he did something wrong. He had
gravity bind on the field yet he attacked me w/ Bazoo and Cannon Soldier. If I had realized that sooner I might have
won. I pointed it out to him as we were
getting our prizes. He felt bad and
gave me a Hayabusa Knight. So he gave
me a Hayabusa Knight! He’s still a
wanker!
TiM_FeRNo: 0
Andy: 4300 (WANKER!)
I
ended getting a pack of cards for getting second and Andy also got a pack for
getting first. In the pack I pulled
Warrior Returning Alive. I traded it to
my friend for two Giant Germs. Andy got
a foil spirit card that attacked twice.
All in all it was a decent day.
