Round 1 : Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Herb

M and M promised K Force the biggest tournament that we’ve ever seen. So we went, and they didn’t deliver. K Force let the youngsters (Ching – Crouching Tiger and Ricky – Hidden Dragon) sweep their normal Sunday $5 dollar to win just 2 packs tournament. I didn’t bring my real deck out, just because the best duelist in the store was there. Herb (the best there) didn’t bring his real handless deck either, I guess any great duelist knows to not show your competition the real stuff before the big tournament (you hear that people who met me in Fairfield Mall and beat a Last Warrior deck and now claiming to beat me?). Check the rankings, I’ve got the uncut sheet of cards, you probably don’t.

Anyways, Herb’s beat down took apart the Gamble Deck. Hey Herb, I’m not the one you should be watching out for though, you know K Force’s Legendary Fisherman doesn’t play at all at World. The first time I saw him playing was with… what’s her name? You know. Don’t hate the player hate the game (did that come out sounding right in a tournament report?).

Area 2:

      World of Books, San Leandro

Round 1: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Kid #1

Sorry Kid, I know your Dad and Mom was watching and all but your set up wasn’t good. Being set up against me first round is not nice. I know your Dad bought the cards for you and he wanted to see you put them in action. Kid, you have the cards, you just need the action. Maybe your Dad was paying attention (they usually do) and can give you some tips.

About the duel, the First Tool of the Bandit took this one. In regards to time, this tool would actually be the most recent one. But because of it’s power, it ate it’s way back in time and rightfully became the First Tool of the Bandit. I’m not even sure how this thing attacks, I just control it. It’s so advanced and ancient at the same time that I’m not sure if it’s picture is up side down or right side up. After a round it dies to a GAF and the Legendary Barrel Dragon comes for revenge.

Round 2: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Asian Teen #1

This guy had a competitive beat down but didn’t have any faith in the heart of his cards. I actually noticed that there are so many good cards out now that the decks are pretty much equal without having the same stuff in them. I’d think just about anyone has a good shot at beating me, you just got to believe in yourself, oh and watch out for the 3rd Tool of the Bandit (it’s harsh).

I’m staring down a 2500 Bazoo that just ripped my Witch and hit me for 1400 (leaving me at 1100 and him at 4100). He must have killed Witch because he would do more damage by killing that than my Soldier. I grab another Soldier with Witch and summon it to the field on my turn. Switch both to attack prepared to suicide then activate the 3rd Tool. Game.

Round 3: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Kid who vs. Ricky in the finals

I was totally surprised by this guy. He must have been listening to “Mambo #5” when putting his deck together because he “Got a lill bit of clowns in his deck, a little bit of warriors there they were and a little bit of harpies what he needs.” But with that tossed salad he won. The 5th tool came through for me round 2 but it’s kind of hard to get that tool out, it’s dense. Good job. For real though, people have to start giving me their names on pieces of paper.

Round 4: Me (Bandit Keif) vs. Nate (A-1 Supreme, Sacramento)

Nate’s Redline deck came up, if he was looking to see if he surpassed the Creator of Redline… for today, he did. I’m not too sure when Darth Sidius / Tyrannous was passed up by Darth Vader / Anakin but I’m pretty sure it happened. I didn’t see Darth Sidius’ power in the original movies and I didn’t see my power today. The duels went 2.1 2.1 in his favor.

Ricky, just to let you know, your on Nate’s hit list (he’s gunning to beat you). And if your on his list, be ready to challenge A-1 Supreme, Roseville. Stay on top of the game, we’ll help you out too. Oh and if you want to get him the easy way, I’ll call up my cousin Ching and he can serve him up like he did at M and M’s.
