First match

Yugi vs. mako

We were both nervous as we drew our top cards. He won the coin toss and went first. He started off by playing one card face down and layed great white in attack mode. On my first turn I layed alpha the magnet guy and attacked his guy. Then he draws and flips up his face down card, power of kaishan and equips it to another great white. He attacks my magnet. I draw and play swords and lay a monster in defence. He draws and plays umi. I draw and tribute for curse of dragon. I then play burning land and attack great white. On his turn he has no monsters. For some reason he showed me his hand and he had legendary fisherman. Another umi. And 2 power of kaishins. I lay monster reborn and get back alpha and lay neo and attack for 5400 damage. He loses and I win a legendary fisherman! Yeah! I immediately put it in my binder. I happily head to the next round.

Second match

Yugi vs. weevil underwood

He goes first. He plays killer needle in attack mode. I draw nothing except feral imp so I play that and attack. I lay 1 other card face down. He plays girochin in attack mode and attacks. I activate spellbinding circle. I draw and play a monster face down defence and end my turn by laying one more card face down. This match I was determined to beat him a certain way. He draws and tributes girochin for a monster in defence and plays remove trap. I draw and tribute curse for catapult turtle in attack. I tribute fealr imp. And end turn. He plays forest and switches his monster to attack, its kwagar hercules. He attacks the turtle and I activate magical hats. He attacks and misses. On my turn I switch him to defense and tribute a mystical elf. He is now down to 2850 life. on his turn he activates stop defense and I told him weevil didn’t have that but eventually continued. He attacked the turtle with the kwaghar herculer and attacked my life with killer needle. It was 2850-2300 with him in the lead. Heart of the cards yes. Polymerization. I use it and fuse curse and gaia to make gaia the dragon champion and attack killer needle for 1400 damage. He plays a monster on defense and switches his other mon. to defense. I play dark hole and play beaver warrior with horn of the unicorn and attack his life. I then won a great moth. I already have 2 so it doesn’t matter but I continue on…

By the way my friend (joey) was beaten by this kid that I fight next.

Third round

Yugi vs. pegasus

This kid played toons and I could tell. Besides, he told me before, him and joey were my two good friends.

On the first turn I won the toss and went first. I played celtic gaurdian in attack mode and one card face down. He played toon world layed toon mermaid activated dimension hole to secure it and layed one card face down. I played lightforce sword on the last card in his hand. I tributed celtic gaurdian for summoned skull and attacked his life he played waboku. I played one other card face down. When he began to draw I activated time seal. He gets back toon mermaid and attacks my life. On my turn I play gazelle and he attacks the mermaid for a little damage and summoned skull does the rest. I won a toon blue eyes! I don’t have one. The one pegasus kid had two so he said it was okay.

Final round

Yugi vs. kaiba.

I won the toss and went first. I drew an amazing hand. I played I card face down and layed alpha in attack. He layed la jinn and attacked my warrior, but I had spellbinding circle. On my turn I equiped alpha with hotu and didn’t attack so spellbinding could wait for a blue eyes to snatch. Worst move I ever made. He plays remove trap and tributes for judge man with legendary sword and attacks my guy. I draw and guess what it is hotu. I lay mystical elf in defence with hotu. He plays another monster in attack. Battle ox and ends his turn. I draw and lay one card down and end my turn. He tributes for swordstalker . I play swords and end. He immediattely ends his turn I draw and end. I play nothing yet again. He ends his turn by tributing for blue eyes. On my turn I draw and lay the card face down. He lays in defense and has blue eyes attack. Mirror force all his monsters away, actually it was only blue eyes but I play change of heart on his face down card. Its ryu-kishin. I tribute it and my elf for D. magician and attack his life. he lays in defense and ends hid turn. I draw and yes. The last piece of exodia. I win. He gives me a blue eyes.

After I got three packs for winning and got shift, monster recovery(don't have one yet), and Gaf.
