This is my first tourney report, and if you’ve been keeping up with Pojo’s deck reports, I am the Michael from Perpetual Motion-Kazoogle_Woogle’s tourney report back in april 10th, the “relative newb” who faced him in the finals. Anyway, I’ve attended the tourney at Triple C collectibles with my friend, Michael (yeah, another Michael), who wasn’t attending the tourney. The fee is 4$, which will cover the consolation prize. When I arrived at the store, it turns out that I’ve missed the ages 13+ tourney and must attend the junior tourney instead. Anyway, I opened my LON pack after paying and pulled… KYCOO!!!, which went into my deck immediately.
Here’s my deck:
Total Cards: /41
Monsters: /19
Gemini Elf (Thanks to my friend Michael for giving me this)

This tourney is different than the others I’ve attended. Instead of elimination, the store owner decided that he would give out prizes based on our wins vs. losses, so it would be more fun for the little kids this way, instead of having them leave once they got eliminated. I think there were about 5 to 6 rounds, but I can’t remember, so this tourney was pretty long.
Beatdown from Loserville vs. a 11-year-old kid??? (sry, 4got your name)
Round 1: This duel was relatively easy (like most of the duels I faced). He ran some sort of a relinquished deck with some beatdown thrown in. He went first, he laid down one monster in def. mode as well as 2 m/t cards face down. My turn, I draw, play heaving storm, which killed off his enchanted javelin cards and such, summoned Goblin Attack Force, and attacked, destroying a 2000 def. monster. His turn, he laid down some m/t cards and played sonic bird, so I draw, got out hayabusa knight, axed it, attacked, killing his sonic bird, and attack again for 2000. His turn, he laid down some more m/t cards, but didn’t play relinquished, so I sacked GAF for Jinzo, and attacked for the game.
Round 2: This time he did better. I went first, laid down a Magic Jammer and Magic Cylinder and summoned Gemini Elf. On his turn, he played black illusion ritual, which I Jammed, and then he played a monster in f/d def. position & ended. I summoned a WOTBF, attacked with Gemini, and hit another 2000 def. monster. He then played graceful charity & P.O.G, laid down some cards, and played dark hole, which I also Jammed with another Jammer. At this time, he starts arguing that Magic Jammer is restricted to 1, so we called the judge over and he agreed that it was unrestricted. Back to the duel, he discarded some cards until he had 6 cards in his hand, and discarded his relinquished. Feeling kinda sorry for this guy, as his deck was better than others in the tourney, I passed my turn without attacking to give him a chance. On his turn, he played premature burial, and tried to reborn his relinquished without using the ritual card, and then at this point he was once again arguing about the rules, and the judge had to come over again and prove him wrong. Regardless, it went downhill for him for the rest of the duel.
(I wrote more details about this duel than others cus it was the hardest duel I’ve faced in the whole tourney. (-_-`)
Wins: 2 Losses: 0
So I advance, and checked out the rest of the competition in the store, which included some weenie beatdown decks and many defense/stall decks. After browsing at the single cards for sale at the store, I was called for my round 2 opponent.
Beatdown from Loserville vs. Def. deck
Round one: This was yet another easy duel, involving him using cars like Island turtle and others to try and deck me out I guess…. Basically, I just used GAF to run over his defenses, and pulled combos with Hayabusa knight with UWS and scapegoat to attack for major damage. This was pretty much over in the first 2-3 turns.
Round two: Same as last round, with him sacking a f/d monster for another f/d monster, which turned out to be Labyrinth wall. So this round took a bit longer, involving me trying to draw my monster removal cards. (My mirror force, magic cylinder, Skull lair, Snatch Steal, and my Solemn Judgement has rendered to being useless because he never attacks me or play attack pos. monsters). Even so, the outcome remained the same as round one.
Wins: 4 Losses: 0
Beatdown from Loserville vs. Kid with over 200 card deck
Round one: This kid looks like he was trying to break the world record for the biggest card game deck ever assembled. It was well over 200 cards, and it took him 5 minutes to try and shuffle it with me waiting patiently. After shuffling, he offered his deck for me to shuffle it as well but I said that’s ok (I was feeling dizzy after looking at his deck). So we begin. He went first and played Ryu-ran in attack mode, and I pointed out he couldn’t do that without tributing, so he laid another monster in f/d position and passed. After two turns, which involved the help of my hayabusa knight with 2 axes and a UWS, his LP was depleted to 0, so we go to round 2.
Round two: Same as round one, with him playing Island turtles and spirit of the harp and stuff. GAF and Gemini elf ran over his LP in less than 5 turns.
Wins: 6 Losses: 0
Beatdown from Loserville vs. 5-year-old kid with a weenie beatdown deck
Round one: I thought this kid was daydreaming or something, as he seems to have no interest in the duel. He played some stuff like ancient elf and Leghul, which was pulverized by my Harpie’s brother & La Ginn. He didn’t even seem to realize when I had hit his lifepoints down by 6800 in a single turn. Hayabusa Knight & Jinzo finished the rest.
Round two: This kid never seemed to pay attention, and kept on glancing the walls and the ceiling. I had to knock on the table to bring his mind back onto the duel. He kept on forgetting to draw and play monsters, so I had to remind him a bit. Another walk in the park with this duel.
Wins: 8 Losses: 0
(Final Round) Beatdown from Loserville vs. Tyler (The only name I remembered)
Round one: Don’t remember much, except I ran over his forces with my Kycoo, GAF, and Summoned Skull.
Round two: Same as round one, with Jinzo and Hayabusa knight.
Wins: 10 Losses: 0
With a record of 10 wins and no losses, I pretty much won the junior tourney without much effort. I earned 20$ store credit, and decided to buy 5 LON packs with them. I gave one pack to my friend Michael cus he paid the entrance fee for me. In it he got a Marie the Fallen one. In my other 4 packs I got a mask of dispel, and crappy rares like Mask of Brutality and stuff. O well, a pretty good tourney nonetheless. Time for props & slops:
Props:
-winning tourney
-getting Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
-Michael for giving me Gemini Elf & some of his other cards
-Pojo.com for all the tips & strategies
Slops:

-um… no challenge from people at tourney?
