This is my first killer deck report so yea. I am a big fan of Kforce, Avalanche, and Springfields Finest.
I was inspired by their reports to organize and create an alliance, or team of my own, known as: SeeD.
SeeD is like a Special Forces team in FFVIII. I decided to create SeeD so we have a chance to defeat the fierce competition at Battlezone.
We play at SF Battlezone in the San Francisco, Bay Area.
BZ as we have come to call it, has some of the best in the Bay next to the players at World of Books.
My deck is called Standstill because it totally stops my opponent from hitting me while using beatdown tactics to knock down their LP.
This was our first tournament as a team. 7 of 11 of us managed to show up: Mike, Lawrence, Sean, Matt, Eric, Preston, and me(Daniel).
I got there pretty early so I just signed up. I cracked open my PGD pack andGuardian Sphinxoh well.
After getting my @$$ beat by Kenson (no.2 in the store), the tournament began.
I got a bye, so I just watched some games. Sean lost to Jake and Lawrence beat a fellow SeeD member, Eric. By the time I knew it, it was time for Round 2.
Lionheart vs. Kevin (Hand Disruption)
-Game1
I popped in Da Band and the duel began. I won the cut and went first. I believe I had the upper hand because I dont think he has ever seen a deck like this before. I had early board control due to a turn 3 Standstill. Eventually, I broke through his lines and took the game with a GAF or something.
He decided to sideboard, I mean sidedeck, before Game 2.
-Game 2
I dont remember much of this match. All I remember was getting raped by Don, Reaper, and Gems. Ouch.
He looked displeased with his sidedeck selections so he decided to side again. I just waited patiently while listening to Livin Legends.

-Deciding Game 3
This was intense. I was above 5500 and my deck was getting pretty low. He attacked my F/DFIBER JAR! =) He already summoned so he set some ish and ended. After launching some creatures with Cannon, I got the Standstill, and ended. I had some trouble toppling his defenses. I managed to kill 1 of his 2 F/D monsters, Spirit Reaper. With one monster left on his side, he sacked it forJinzo. Left handless with nothing else in play cept Psycho Shocker, I took it and ended the game. GG man.
After my match, I found out that Lawrence knocked out Kenson, one of Battlezones best, after reseting the game TEN times with Fiber. Good job. Also, it four SeeD members; Mike, Lawrence, Matt, and I were in the quarterfinals out of 23-26 people who entered the tournament. Unfortunately, I had to face Matt, and Lawrence had to face Mike. Which meant that only two members would make it to the semis. Even though Kenson and The Fool were out, SeeD still had to worry bout Jake and Nat.
Lionheart vs. Matt (SeeD)
-Game 1
This guy is good. I was unfamiliar with his deck so I went into this duel with many doubtsMid-game, there was a ten-turn topdecking session. His Swords followed afterward. $ # ! +, followed by an Imperial Order, I was unable to play all the crap in my hand. Also, Standstill protected me from his GAF and Spear. After 2 Cyber effects in a row, I was left with ten cards in my hand, and a surprise CARD DESTRUCTION ended the game for me. GG
-Game 2
This went pretty fast. He had 4 creatures out thanks to Marauding Captains and I had 1 F/D SinisterLets jus say I got PWNED. GG.
Even though I got knocked out, SeeD wasnt. We had 2 in the semis; Lawrence and Matt. Matt lost to Nat and Lawrence K.O.ed Jake, sending him to the finals. Lawrence was swept away 2-0, sending our last member packing.
Overall, I think we did pretty well. After we ate at a place fit for kings! Burger King=)
