Well, I finally have enough money to join a tourney!!! Well it's WOB here (San Leandro, CA) and I arrived with my friend Edwin (he gave me a ride)... and today I wanted to do something that I always wanted to do. I joined both beginner and advance, just to piss off manager or something there). So he FINALLY let's me do both, but gives me a warning, if I dont play the person I'm supposed to play in both tourneys I get disqualified!!! ;_;.... ahhhhh well, I said whatever and joined both, I'm the first person ever there at WOB that actually did this...hahhaha... right???? I would a joined all 3, but I didn't want to wasted more money and time. Well anyway this tourney report is for my friends on Springfields Finest, I'm new on the list, my name is Lenny (Suzaku for now until I get my lenny sleeves).

Note, I was playing Beginner and Advance at the same time so some of the duels here coincide with my part 2 tourney report.

part one... Beginner.....

Round 1 - Suzaku (Lenny of SF) Vs teen rock guy, 2-0, I won.

well, this is the first duel of the day for me.... I have to play some guy that I seen come to WOB hella often, but never learned his name, oh well. He should a joined intermediate, he's kind of good. It was a fairly good start, he let me go first 0.0, and my first move was setting down a waboku and GAF face down, my hand was change of heart, jinzo, reborn, and spear dragon. It's his turn now, and he sets down 1 monster and 2 f/d m/t. it's my turn, I change of heart his face down, Exiled force, and saced it for mi Jinzo (: and did 2400 direct damage just for mi second move...not bad. His turn he used raigeki and tried to attack with Gemini, but I used waboku... hehehe...my turn. I drew snatch, used reborn, but he threw up imperial, but I used my MST (I drew it during the last turn) and got mi jinzo back. Used snatch, took his Gemini and played spear... Game!!!

Match 2... kind of similar to match 1, but he went first this time, he set 1 monster f/d, that's it. I played nobleman of crossout and took out his sangan, then summoned gem and attacked...hmmm, a little easy, whatever I set down mi MST just in case.... his turn, he used snatch, but I countered with MST. Then he put a f/d (reaper), and I attacked it.... not much I could've done. Then he SACed it for jinzo and smack my gem ): well my turn and I snatched his Jinzo (at this point everyone was staring at me) and I smacked him with spear.... his turn, he had no monsters on the field and 1 card... a trap (I had 2 cards in my hand that time), and he gave up!!!

Man, at this point Advance began so I was in a hurry... a man boredom hit like

a bomb....

Round 2 - Suzaku (Lenny of SF) Vs kid that had an overprotective dad 2-0, I won

well, it's about 12:13ish and I had to play again (even after my first round win in advance). Me against some kid, let's just say I smacked him down to 3900 with spear dragon on my 4th turn (I didnt think he would last this long against me, so I was just playing idiotically) he ringed my spear and I went down to 6100, while he was 2000, then he played GAF, and I ringed his GAF back(payback!!!) and won the first match.

Match 2.... halfway thought out the duel, his dad comes and tries to help him!!!! I didn't worry though but it pissed me off since his dad saw my hand!!! He was 4100, I was at 5400, he played a face down card and I had kycoo in attack and ceasefire f/d, the dad started telling him what to do again, so I just blindly played cease and did 1000 damage... then he played MST my face down and got Mirror Force... dang.... but he attacked with spear dragon, and I played Cylinder. My turn, I drew Exiled Force and Snatched his spear, then smacked him with kycoo.... and finished with ring (that fits around my finger). Man, if the dad didn't see my cards and told him what to do, I would've done hella better!! ) :(

Well, it's getting pretty hard, trying to balance beginner and advance

Round 3 - Suzaku (Lenny of SF) Vs a Latino kid, 2-0, I won

match 1.... This match was fairly hard, and in the finals too! People were watching me while I dueled this kid, he had DBZ sleeves.... well I didn't know his name. Well the first match started fine, Was 3450 thx to a hades attack and some other monster and he played swords.... man this was the toughest Beginner match... whatever. I drew MST (yay!!!) and MSTed his swords, got exiled attack his defense monster and SACed his Hades.... I was in control now.... until he played witch and whacked me with it =/ Then I reborned kycoo (I needed a constant attacker) and summoned reaper, I double smacked his hand and life... w00t!!! Then he drew pot of greed, but luckily I played Imperial!!! Gamage!!!! Spankage!!!! whatever!!!! Match 2.... This match ended pretty quick to my surprise.... he played 3 cards f/d and played sang an down.... I played Harpie's duster and smack his f/d with kycoo.... he got IFL!!! I wasnt worried a bit, since I had spirit reaper defense and kycoo attack, with 8000 lp. He summoned the IFL and whacked me for 1600, and he took 2000. Then I snatched his IFL (his only monster) and SACed my reaper for mi almighty JINZO!!!!!! I was 100lp from winning so I premature kycoo(and he had 2 cards f/d) and that was BWNAGE!!!!!

w00t I won Beginner!!!! Well, this also intertwines with my advance tourney report (which I won too).... it's not that hard to win this thing, but it is hard to balance....

Shout outs to all of Springfield's Finest! Edwin, Gus, James, thanks for believing in me!!!! =D I'm going post my Advance tourney report too, so keep in tune!!! Suzaku rises again, and Springfield's Finest got a tourney win!!!!
