I Went to Collectors today, just wanted to get some cards. Wasn’t expecting a tourney today, especially a FREE tourney. Then another FREE tourney. Lucky Day.

Tourney #1

Round 1        Vs Josh

Duel 1

       Before we played, he told me that he just got back from playing. I’m ok with that. Some of his cards aren’t up to date, so it didn’t take long. I got him an early yata lock quick by delinquent then spirit reaper. It didn’t take long until he was locked and had a crossout in his hand only.

Duel 2

       He went first and laid something face down. My turn I crossout it, it was a sangan. I summon a tomato and attacked. His turn he killed it with a gearfried, and I got my sangan. I dark holed it and got yata and attacked. He summon another gearfried and attacked, I ring it. I summoned yata and he gave up after that. Just get updated cards and you’ll be fine next time.

Round 2        Vs Bryan

Duel 1

       This was interesting. He reads most of the reports on Pojo and reads a lot of the World Of Books tourneys. He doesn’t know who I am yet...lol. He starts off we a decent hand. This duel was quick, I was at 1900, he was at 2200. He drew, ( we were both top-decking) he got Lily. Attacked, pumped game.

Duel 2

       I went first and set a tomato dace down. He attacks it, I got me a witch. My turn, I sac witch for jinzo. Witch got yata. Then he sets something, I crossout summon yata, and it was all over for him.

Duel 3

       I took him out fast with yata, since he had all beautiful magics with him. Good game though.

Round 3(Semis) Vs Allen

Duel 1

       Damn I had to play against my friend, Allen, o well. I don’t think he had a good hand since fiber kept restarting. I gave him the lock since I had better hands from fiber jar. We are about equal, but today wasn’t going well for him.

Duel 2

       We got handless quick from delinquents. I get a little nervous since I was low on life, so I drew, used raigeki on his monster, then summon yata. He had 1 card left in his hand, he summoned fiber jar in attack mode and attacked me. I drew and used fissure and summon yata and attack and locked. Good game dude.

Round 4(Finals) Vs Johnny

Duel 1

       I basically got owned. His spears and goblins were to strong for me, in the end he summoned a spear and attacked my reaper for the kill.

Duel 2

       Pretty much the same thing. It ended quick, but I didn’t care since another tourney was gonna start after this one. Good game.

Tourney #2

Round 1        Vs Girl(forgot name)

Duel 1

       She was still new to the game, why? Well she put her magic cards face down, there was a reborn and dian keto down there. Well it was just yata lock, I tired to make it so she can learn, but not losing in the way. She activates scapegoat to slow me down some, but it was no match for exile and sinister.

Duel 2

       Same as duel 1, except it was much faster with yata.

Round 2        Vs Robin

Duel 1

       Robin is cool. He doesn’t care about people making for of his sleeves. Well, first game he won by killing me with spear by attacking my repaer..Ar..

Duel 2

       This time though, my reaper saved me. I set it down. He summons dark ruler and attacks. Then he summons more monster, pretty soon he had dark ruler, lily, goblin, and 2 face down monsters. He sets a trap, I mst, it was his torrential which he needed. About 13 turns later, I drew my raigeki and used it. Wham!!! I reborned his kycoo, switch reaper in attack mode, and summon yata. He sets a monster. I attack with kycoo, it was his sinister. Then next turn I attacked with reaper, then kycoo, removing his sinister and yata. Game

Duel 3

       This was the quickest. I crossout his sangan. I summon tomato and attacked. He summoned gemini and attacked me, I bring out another tomato. I gracefuled, threw cannon away. I prematured it, change of heart gemini, summon yata and attacked and launch. After all that he was at 1700, I then launched my tomato ,to. I set ring. He goes and draws and plays pot I activate ring on my cannon for game. That was fun and long, great job.

Round 3

Duel 1(Semis)  Vs Store Owner “Q”

       I haven’t played him in a while, but o well lol. I start but setting tomato. He sets something, too. I crossout, summon yata and attacked with both. He sets a monster. I crossout that, too...needle worm, he has only 2 and there they go. He got locked basically.

Duel 2

       He sets a monster. I summon tomato and attacked...his tomato. He later sets a monster, I crossout, his needle worms again lol. I summon my sangan and attacked. He sets, I attacked, his cyber jar. I get lots of useful things, he gets a witch and a morphing jar, I end my battle phase and used graceful, I dump some things away and used raigeki. From witch’s effect he got tomato. I forceful it. Then I started summoning swarms of monsters and it was game.

Round 4(Finals) Vs Xing

Duel 1

       Xing is another of my friend that joined the tourney(who wouldn’t?) I owned him this one by yata locking him fast. I thought I almost lost when he brought out jinzo. But it got fissured.

Duel 2

       He beat me while I had a reaper and got owned by airknight, I couldn’t do anything. O well. Good job.

Duel 3

       This was for the prize lol. I remembered that if he put a monster face down, I crossout it. Then yata. Face-up. Fissured. So he couldn’t defend himself so he summoned exile and attacked, I ringed, I reborned it and it was game. Good game. 

Overall it was fun, but it was hot there. It was fun though, since it was free and we had a prize for 1^st place. I didn’t choose the pack, just got some rare cards I needed. Yea, that’s basically it.
