The only card I got today was Spirit Reaper. That cards pretty good..thought like Change of Heart can kill it, lol. This week was good, I hung out with my friend Dave before the tournament. I was hoping to get passed the third round for once, but I'll have to keep waiting. I got the Spirit Reaper before the tournament..so yeah....heres my deck.

Ok, lets get right to the tournament. First round I was dueling this dude named Melvin, he was cool, yeah. I didn't know if I could win or not.

Russ Vs. Melvin: Duel One

I didn't know if he was good or not, but it turned out he wasn't (well by my standards). Early on I do damage to myself with Imperial Order, and Ring of Destruction. I kept throwing out my attack monsters, and met little um...defenses. In the end, when he had 2550, I Yata locked him.

Duel One- Results

Knowing I was gonna win I was happy. And you don’t care about that last statement.

Russ Vs. Melvin- Duel Two

He hurt me more, but I hurt me more then he did, lol. This was easy money, churning out the heavy hitters.....yeah. Not much to say...

Duel Two- Results

I shook hands with Melvin, reported my win....and yeah. Next round.

Damnit, I had to duel some little kid who had NO idea what he was doing. Had obviously had a bye in the first round, and he thought he could keep going. Ha ha. His deck was about 300 cards or so (I counted half).

Duel One- Russ Vs. Nikita

This kid was annoying, annoying, fun to laugh at, stupid, and annoying. Don’t AIM me about being mean either. He just drew and played crap....soon I had Spear Dragon, he had two cards down, no mons. I summon Yata, and lock him, but he wouldn’t forfeit, which pissed me off. He had low lp anyways, lol.

Russ Vs. Nikita- Duel Two

This duel was easier, which is saying something, since the first duel was so easy too. I got in some damage, then reborned his Dark Witch (he had played it f/d without tributing, and I didn't care, lol) and Yata. Again, he refused to forfeit, but it only took 4 turns anyway.

I won, but I wasnt proud or anything because I hadn't played any real challenges. Well that all ended in the next round, when I learned I'd be up against none other then Dave. He'd beaten me once already today, but I wanted to change that this time. Better luck to me next time, lol.

Russ Vs. Dave: Duel One

This duel was amazing, we were going card for card, and it was one of the best duels I've ever played. Lily and Ha Des really came through for me this time. When Ha Des came out, he started defending, but I kept killing them...and they didn't get their effects. I wasnt drawing monsters though, and soon he was pummeling me. I cleared his field, he has one facedown trap, I summon Lily and use the effect...and it went through. I beat Dave once, yay.

Russ Vs Dave- Duel Two

He really kicked my ass this time. We went card for card for about 7 turns, then he shifted into high gear and and kicked my ass.

Russ Vs. Dave- Duel Three

Now that wasn't cool, I wanted revenge. And it looked like I was gonna get it, when I summoned Jinzo with United We Stand on the first turn. Now this is a "holy shit, ouch" moment. He Change of Hearts my Jinzo, summons Bazoo, reborns his Goblin Attack Force (that I killed), removes three for Bazoo, and hits me for the whole 8000, not a point more or less. Now that is scary, especially with a deck like mine....

Dave shook my hand, because we did have a great match. Well, since I made no trades, I guess its time to wrap this up. Time for Props and Slops.
