Before the tourney began I was able to trade my US
Yata-Garasu for a Sinister Serpent and Harpie’s Feather Duster. I could also
trade a United We stand and a second MST. Shortly after that the pairs were
called, but immediatly they were withdrawn cause of a mistake. It appeared that
some participants weren’t registered, including me, although I payed. So, after
this correction the pairs were called... again.
--Duel I--
Medium Swipe VS ???
My opponent didn’t show up so I won because of forfait.
I played a friendly match against someone else who’s partner was also gone. The
match started out good with me pounding away with Jinzo and Bazoo, I got my
opponent’s LP to 350 when she (yes, it was a she :p ) played raigeki and that’s
when the tables turned... I pulled naught but monsters and she had Light of
Intervention and Mystierous Puppeteer on the field, causing her to get 500LP
everytime a monster was played. Since I couldn’t use flip monsters and pulled
only monsters that I couldn’t use I used Sinister Serpent to defend for a few
turns while she was getting a real LP boost. When I finnaly drew a MST I used
it on the Light of Intervention, I thought “YES, finnaly, now I’ll win!!!” and
hop, she activates her second Light AAAARRRGGGHHHH. Well, because of lack of
useful monsters and no S/T I lost. Lucky this was only a friendly match. I
never thought I’d lose to her though...
--Duel II--
Medium Swipe VS sort of Beatdown I think
Match One:
What a day, what a day. I, again, pulled almost
nothing but monsters. I could do some damage in the beginning cause of my GAF
and Kycoo but then he got Summoned Skull out and because of lack of S/T I
couldn’t do much about it. I did pull swords and was able to build up a
defensive wall but he played Ceasefire causing 2000 damage, what was just
enough to kill me.
0 – 1
Match Two:
I didn’t pull much S/T this match either, but it didn’t
matter much, my opponent didn’t drew much monsters. We just exchanged hits and
defended for a while untill I finnaly got his field empty and had Sangan and
Bazoo on the field, I equipped Bazoo with United We Stand and attacked for the
win.
1 – 1
Match Three:
Finnaly I pulled good S/T and I won pretty easily. I
did some serious damage with Jinzo and GAF. He had no monsters and 3 S/T
face-down, he played Raigeki. I had Monster Reborn in my hand but I didn’t trust
those S/T he had face-down. I drew MST and made a wild guess and destroyed
Magic Jammer!!! Lucky me, cause now I could reborn Jinzo and attack for the
win.
2 – 1
--Duel III--
Medium Swipe VS Exodia
Match One AND Two:
I’m going to report the two matches together, as they
kinda went similar. He pulled Exodia in an extremely fast pace. The first match
he drew it in the first few turns and the second match he had 3 parts in the
graveyard and top decked Backup Soldier... I lost :’(
0 – 2
--Duel IV--
Medium Swipe VS Water Deck
Match One:
Soon in the game he got a 7 Colored Fish equipped with
2 Malevolent’s out and also had Star Boy and Umiruuka on the field. He attacked
but I Cylindered, taking a big bite out of his LP. I wiped his field and from
then on I dominated the game. He was able to get a Suijin out but I Snatch
Stealed him and attacked with all for the win.
1 – 0
Match Two:
This match was over VERY quick. He began and played
umi and a face-down monster. I set WotBF and Mirror Force and end. He flips his
face-down Star Boy and summons 7 Colored Fish, he attacks and I use Mirror
Force. When it’s my turn I sack my WotBF for Jinzo, equip Jinzo with an Axe of
Despair and United We Stand and then I reborn his 7 Colored Fish. I attack with
both for 7000 Damage. He can’t do much and sets a monsters wich I kill with
jinzo and then attack with 7 Colored Fish for the win.
2 – 0
--Duel V--
Medium Swipe VS Exodia
Match One:
I don’t remember much, the only thing I can remember
is this: TOTAL SLAUGHTER :p
1 – 0
Match Two:
I immediatly used Exchange on a part wich I carried in
my hand the whole match =D He strangely enough tried to collect the other
pieces and I slowly killed him. Later on he said I cheated but I had witnesses,
mwahaha!! By the way, I didn’t cheat, he’s just a sore loser. He does this all
the time, when he loses he tries EVERYTHING to prove it wrong, I hate that
little brad! Everybody does by the way...
2 – 0
--Duel VI--
Medium Swipe VS Gravity Bind
Match One, Two, Three:
I really don’t remember much, sorry, but I know I won
:p
2 – 1
This was the final match, my friend that I came with
had won all matches, so I was sure he was gonna be #1. I hoped to get a top 3
spot.
I waited and saw if I couldn’t get any good trades
done but nothing...
So, the final scores where ‘yelled’ and the prizes
handed out. I turned out to be 3th, not bad =D
I got 3 packs of LON and a tourney pack. I pulled
crap, only 1 bad super rare. Meanwhile someone had pulled a Mechanical Chaser
and he got ALOT of offers for it!! Someone even offered 2 Boosterboxes but he
did it away for a magic cylinder and some ultra’s...
Later I was able to get a Mage Power. Well, that’s it,
now for the props and slops:
Props:
-For being 3th
-For getting all those good cards
-For my friend getting 1st
Slops:
-For pulling crap in my packs
-For not getting Mechanical Chaser
