HAHA I'M WRITING A REPORT ON THE INTERMEDIATE DIVISION HAHA :P

Today was my first time back at World in like hella days. I thought I might be
a bit rusty on the tourney scene so I decided that I would take the easy way
out (like I always do) and join Intermediate.

There were a lot more people that were new to World and I was kinda shocked and
already my hopes for winning for goin down, but hell, gotta have confidence
right!? :) World of Books-veteran and friend, Froilan showed up finally and I
knew someone there for once. I thought he'd go far but he lost to Marcus of
K-Force 1 or Springfield's Finest or whatever group he's floatin in :P

Match 1:
So-9 vs. Kid that goes to World

I can't remember this duel! He went first and he set a M/T down and ended. WTF! I
guess the day is mine! I drew and summoned Mystic Tomato and attacked. He took it.
I end and he drew. Aw f*ck it I can't remember, I won this one.

Round 2 was no different but at least he got a monster in defense mode. I draw Pot
of Greed and pick up Dark Jeroid and Dark Hole. I use Dark Hole and MST his back card.
Mirror Force.. I hate that card. I attack with Opticlops. Damnit! I cant remember
this one either but I won :P

Match 2:
So-9 vs. Other Kid that goes to World that I beat before

This kid should have more confidence. You could feel the fear oozing out of his eyes.
WTF, come on now kid, I'm not unbeatable and certainly not a difficult opponent.. and from
what I hear, you got quite a number of Holo's in your deck. Sigh.. oh well, i'll take it
as a compliment haha. Anyways, the match was starting in my favor again! He sets 1 card in the
M/T zone and ends. GOODNESS! AT THIS RATE, I'LL TAKE INTERMEDIATE IN NO TIME! I draw and MST
the card which turns out to be Sakuretsu Armor or whatever it's called (Watered-down Mirror
Force or -=WDMF=- as i'm gonna call it from now on in this report), I give him a fatty in the form
of Giant Orc and set Thunder of Ruler down. I use it and he sets a M/T down and a monster in
Defense mode. My turn, I draw a monster. I Change of Heart his face-down card and see it as a
Witch. I summon Mystic Tomato and attack with Witch and Tomato and run into Mirror Force. I
let him go with that one :P. I set Torrential and end. He summons Archfiend Soldier! Too bad,
Torrential owns you. My turn, I draw Graceful Charity. I use it and get Necrofear, Fissure and
some other monster. I dump out two fiends, summon Necrofear, reborn his Archfiend Soldier and summon
my Kycoo. It was all me from there.

Second round was no different but he put up a better fight. I prevail in this round.

Match 3:
So-9 vs. Chinese kid that talks to much and has too many people he knows talking while we play.

DUDE, WTF. Every match I've been in today always has them with a bad hand. Goodness, he sets 1 M/T down
and ends. Unfortunately I have no M/T removal and I just blindly attack with a Newdoria. I run into WDMF.
Wow, thats a popular card all of a sudden. I set Torrential and end. He sets an M/T yet again and ends. I
draw. Still no M/T removal. Oh well, 1 M/T doesnt scare me! I blindly attack with Opticlops and run into
ANOTHER WDMF! WTF! I'm seething at this point.. I end and hope I get to use my Tidal Wave. He sets a monster
into Defense Mode. Sigh... I draw. Fissure? Save it for later.. I attack with Mystic Tomato. Spirit Reaper!
I'm really seething at this point. I end. Aw screw it, I win this one eventually.

This round saw ME at the end of a bad hand. Who draws ALL monsters with none of them being searchers or Tomatos?
Aw crap, he takes this round after taking one of my monsters and sacrificing it for Dark Ruler Ha Des.

This round was pretty cool. However, we had a little dispute over Dark Jeroid's effect targetting Spirit Reaper.
Apparently he and his brother did not know that and we ended up arguing about it. It says it right there on the
card geniuses.. God.. Either way, if I didnt destroy his attack-mode Spirit Reaper with Jeroid's effect, they would
have been taking direct damage anyways so I figure what the hell ever.. I take this one after superior swarmage with
Necrofear.

Today was lackluster... I was hoping there would be an overflow in the advanced bracket and some Advanced players
would come down to Intermediate but I guess not. Oh well, I'll join Advanced next time.

What did I get out of my packs? For entering, I got a MFC Big Bang Shot :\ and then for winning I got another
MFC DD Crazy Beast :\ Oh well, the day was mine

Yay for me. I won all the duels in which I used this proxy deck today. I would say.. 8-0? Haha Froilan, you gotta
stop thinkin i'm a liar with all these proxy cards! :P

I'm the dude with Terry Bogard (from SNK/Fatal Fury fame) with "Solution 9" across the top.

Big ups:
- Me winning intermediate
- Froilan for being a good sport
- David for being a funny guy
- Everyone I came across cause they were pretty funny

Bad spots:
- less of a challenge in intermediate.. before it was more challenging but now..
- not getting anything out of my packs
- Froilan getting mad
- me arguing with those damn kids about Jeroid vs. Spirit Reaper
- cold weather
- hungry :(
