I haven't been to a tournament for almost 2 months, so I woke up ready for what I have been missing, a tournament. I woke up at 9:30 am and made sure my deck was ready. Before the tournament I bought 3 MCF packs and only pulled one foil...*drumroll* a D. D Warrior Lady. The tournament started at 10:30 with exactly 8 people, most I knew and a few I didn't. For some odd reason a lot of people had 2 - 3 Luster Dragons (MCF), and that didn't make me feel very confortable. Well, now for my deck.

My deck is a lot better than it looks, and I think most of the people I dueled agreed. The objective of my deck is to simply overwhelm my opponent by swarming with cards like Mystic Tomato, Nimble Momonga (a much underrated card), and Marauding Captain. I try my best to get 4-5 cards on the field, and to attack for big chuncks like 3000 damage at a time. My Zaloogs provide limited options to stop me, and because of this many games end in 3-5 rounds. Anyway I sat around and watched as others dueled. I tried not to have any pre-tourny duels in order to keep my deck confidential. I haven't been there for a long time, and my deck has changed a lot ( if you read my last tourny report you would know ). At last, the names were called. Unfortunately, I forgot to keep the score sheets, so I will just explain what happened.
Me vs. Sean (Dark Deck)
Duel 1: From the very beginning I brought out Jinzo by discarding and reborning. After about 3 turns he Raigekied my Jinzo and a Don Zaloog with approx. 3000 LPs left. He summoned another monster, but I Torrential Tributed it. I then reborned my Jinzo again and summoned a Yata Garasu for the game
Duel 2: Same as last duel, but I didn't get a Yata. It ended quick when I had a Jinzo, a Nimble Momonga, a Don Zaloog, and a Snatch Stolen Witch's Apprentice on my side of the field.
Me vs. kid with a Beatdown deck with 3 Lusters. (Sorry forgot your name =/)
Duel l: This ended quicker I thought. I thought this would be hard. He had all the essencials and everything, but I went without taking any damage. I guess my swarming monsters just were too much as my Don Zaloogs took care of his hand. I guess he was just unlucky.
Duel 2: Suprizingly enough I swept againt taking no damage. My Pot of Greed gave me instant hand advantage, and with my hand having a Maruading Captain, Don Zaloog, Mystic Tomato, Harpie's Feather Duster, a Raigeki, and 2 unimportant monsters at the time (Nimble Momonga and Spear Dragon) I had no trouble pulling off a smooth victory.
Me vs. A little kid with a 80 card deck with 2 Judgement of Anubis and 2 Luster Dragons (Sorry forgot your name)
Duel 1: He ran an 80 card deck with De-Spells, random 1800 attackers, and stuff like Man Eater Bug, kind of an old school deck. You would think he wasn't very hard, but do be honest he put up a pretty good fight. This round he brought me down to 5000 LPs, but my Spear Dragons and swarming of my Nimble Momongas brought me to victory.
Duel 2: This game resulted in a Yata Lock where I had 2 Don Zaloogs out and stripped his hand, and some how they both died. With only 1 card left in his hand ( Red Eyes ??) I won with a Yata Lock.
Aftermath : Well, in the end I won 6 TP4 packs ^_^, the little kid won 4 TP4 packs, and the second guy I played and someone else got 3 Packs each. In the TP I pulled nothing much, only a Gian Red Seasnake and a Call of the Grave =/ . I was looking forward to a Royal Decree ( Now that would be nice). Oh well, I gues there is next time. Well, time for props and slops.
Props:
Winning the tourny.
For pulling a D.D Warrior Lady
FINALLY GOING TO A TOURNY IN 2 MONTHS
For people being cool and nice
Getting lots of cards to help my bro ( 3x Hyabus Knights, 3x Rush Recklessly, 2x Giant Tomato, 2x Nobleman of Extermanation, a Gravity Bind for example for his Gravity Bind Deck).
Slops:
Having to go home right when my friend Jason came.
Not being able to get a 2nd D.D Warrior Lady.
Everyone with Archfiend Warrior or Luster Dragon wouldn't trade me 2.
Thats it!
Well, if you want to talk to me my email is jeff.linsheid@comcast.com. I like getting email from other Yugioh players whether it is Praise or Suggestions about my deck. =)
