After
winning a tournament the previous day at C & J Collectables in Fremont, it
would be nice to carry that momentum into the World Of Books tournament. I
noticed some new face when I arrived at World Of Books. Brandon and a few other
friends told me that they were some duelists from a card shop called Galaxy in
Daly City. We must defend our store and not allow them to win our tournament.
Anyways, Time for some GERMAN OWNAGE!
I
heard he was running a removal deck with Kycoos, Soul Releases, to name a few
cards. I heard that he removed 37 cards from his opponents deck in one duel. Uh
oh!
Winner:
Homer J. Simpson (2-1)
I
lost the first duel. He removed a total of 10 cards from my deck from the game.
He defeated me by flipping fiber and getting open hits and killed me little by
little. Now I know his little strategy. I took him out in the next 2 duels. I
took him one duel by just beating him down and disrupting his hand with drop
offs and other control cards. The next duel, I think I Yata-Locked him.
Last
time we met in the tourney, I rallied back from a 1-0 deficit to defeat him in
the Finals. Someone is looking for some revenge.
Winner:
Homer J. Simpson (2-0)
Not
to disrespect Jake but I completely owned him. I just controlled his hand to a
point where the cards he had were useless. I think I beat him down to 0 the
first duel and I think I lock him the second duel.
Round 3 Homer J. Simpson Vs. Donald (Leader & Red XIII of
Avalanche)
Last
time we met in the tourney, I took him out in the 2nd round in the
same day I won the tournament.
Winner:
Homer J. Simpson (2-1)
First
duel, I just beat him down until his life points reached 0. Second duel, I
forgot how he won but he did. Third duel, I owned him with a Don and took out
his hand and depleted his deck and beat him down to 0 with it.
Round 4 (Semi-Finals) Homer J. Simpson Vs. Mark (Spawn from Galaxy)
Winner:
Homer J. Simpson (2-0)
First
duel, I bring him down to 2000 life points. I had a ring set down and he had a
monster in defense and I had a Tribe in attack mode. I attack his face down
monster and it was a Pyramid Turtle. He grabbed a Vampire Lord and I ringed it
for the win. Second duel, I bring him down to 4600. I had a Tribe in attack
mode and a ring set face down. He had a Call Of The Mummy. All I remembered is
I ringed his Vampire Lord and brought him down to 2600. Then he set down a M/T
face down and ended his turn. I drew a Tomato and summoned it and attacked with
Tomato and Tribe. He had no counters and I won.
Round 5 (Championship Round) Homer J. Simpson Vs. Marcus (Vincent of
Avalanche)
Winner:
Homer J. Simpson (2-0)
First
duel, I disrupted his hand with drop offs and other hand control cards and beat
him down until his life points reached 0. Second duel, I Yata-Lock him. We
shook hands after having a good finals match.
