Swiss Tournament Round 1

[Win Ratio: 0-0]

[Me V.S. Terry]

~1st Match~

I couldn't touch him. Oddly enough I overwhelmed him with Zombies but it ended up getting Magic Cylinder, Ring of Destruction, and Mirror Force. It seemed that his traps were doing his work for him. Then sadly he Change of Heart my only defense and summon for game. I didn't touch his Life Points at all.

~2nd Match~

Now it's getting interesting. I got the upper hand and then summon Dark Balter and Ryu Senshi with Scientist while I had Vampire Lord and Regenerating Mummy. His Life Points were low so I attacked. He plays Mirror Force and I pay 1000 LPs from Ryu Senshi's effect to negate it, then it was game.

~3rd Match~

It's 1-1. Gosh I hate 1-1's. I've only taken 400 Life Points of damage somehow, but lucky it was game and I won that round. I Book of Life my Ryu Kokki and he had 2400 LPs left so it was a perfect.

Swiss Tournament Round 2

[Me V.S. Chris C.]

~1st Match~

Yeah he is running a Light/Warrior Deck. He trys to hide it from me, but ehhhh nice try. Pay 1000 LPs for Scientist to attack his facedown card and it was "WHAT" Spirit Reaper? Chris was saying "I can play your game". I was like "ehhhh". Anyhow he got my LPs down to 300 but I ended up taking him down. Barely.

~2nd Match~

So I got rid of his hand and stuff with a couple of Spirit Reapers. He could not summon his Envoy (BLS-EotB) cause I kept removing his monsters with Book of Life. Then later I had this under control until he set a monster and end. Chris was like all grinning and stuff and I summon Scientist. So I pay and brought out Dark Balter. He said "Are you sure about that"? I'm like "Yeah, its not Reaper". So I attacked and it wasn't. So I got my other monsters to attack him directly for game.

Swiss Tournament Round 3

[Win Ratio: 2-0]

[Me V.S. Justin]

~1st Match~

So yeah it was me and Justin. Lets see how his Machine Deck (Nuts & Bolts) will work out. We started off pretty tight when our LPs kept going down the same. Then he had 2700 LPs and I think I attacked him directly for game. Forgot how though.

~2nd Match~

Wow, unbelievable. He set a monster and a card facedown, end. Then I drew a crappy hand. Nothing but Tribe was the only monster I can summon. So I just set him down and end. Then he revealed his Z-Metal Tank and Change of Heart my Tribe. Then he smacked down a Limiter Removal, and then *gasp* ANOTHER Limiter Removal! Wow so he attacked me and said thats game. I said, "don't be too sure....look closely". Since Z-Metal Tank has 1500 Attack Points, then it doubles to 3000, then again to 6000! Plus Tribe so thats 6000 + 1600 = 7600 LP of damage so I have 400 LPs you see? Well Justin was like "man I can't do math right or sumthing". So then later when I still had 400 LPs and I got him down to 1800 LPs. Here's what happened. He summon Sinister Serpent and played Creature Swap. I only have Patrician and Pyramid Turtle. So I took Sinister of course and I let him keep Turtle. Then he attacks the Sinister for game. I thought it was game until I noticed that I have Patrician on the field. Which means I can choose the targets of his attack! So I would target Turtle's attack to Patrician. So turtle would die and I search a Zombie! See what I mean? Instead, he ends. Then I just attack the turtle with Patrician. Search with turtle and then attack for game. Oh man, Justin couldn't believe it! I couldn't either. Great Duel!

Swiss Tournament Round 4

[Me V.S. Rob]

~1st Match~

I kinda forgot what happened. I remember that I got Ryu Kokki and attacked him directly. And then he Monster Reborn or either Snatch Steal my Despair from the Dark and totally knocked me down. It was game, he got me.

~2nd Match~

Rob was nervous. I can tell. When I played Dark Hole on his facedown Witch, he took about 3 minutes to make up his mind and finally he got the monster he wanted. Then I got Vampire Lord out thanks for him to attacking my Pyramid Turtle. But dang we were both top-decking and I ended up drawing Heavy Storm. I'm thinking, I don't need that now. So I set my Mirror Force down and end. Then he played Premature Burial and he was about to get Jinzo but I ended up Book of Life it earlier so no can do Rob. But then he summon Breaker and broke my last card that will save me, Mirror Force. Rob was glad and attack me for game. Can't you believe it? A HD Deck against a Zombie Deck with Despairs and Regenerating Mummys? Hmmm.....

Results: Lost

~Intermission Time~

Ok so that lost kinda got me down...but I can still make it to the finals and might get 1st or 2nd place. Depends on the next performances so read on and find out. This is the Top 8 now, and John got 9th. Sorry man!

Swiss Tournament Round 5

[Win Ratio: 3-1]

[Me V.S. T]

~1st Match~

I defend and end my turn. He played Dark Hole I think and summoned Skilled Dark and attack me directly so I had 6100 LPs. Next I ended up Snatch Stealing the Skilled Dark and played lots of Spells to get his field clean and attack him. Then he revealed his fuzzball (Kuriboh). Grrr. Then later he kept gaining LPs thanks to my Snatch Steal. Finally I know he played Dark Hole or Raigeki then attack me with all his monsters for game. I think Skilled Dark had like 8-9 Spell Counters on him, even though he can hold up to 3.

~2nd Match~

This got annoying. Everytime I attack he Kuribohs. Then later I attacked with Vampire Lord and then he kuriboh it while my other two monsters, Regenerating Mummy and Tribe attacked him directly. Then it was game. I won that match

~3rd Match~

Things got intense. If I won, then I face Justin (again) and if T won, then he will face off against Justin. Well later, I attack him and it was game and stuff. Can't remember the details.

Swiss Tournament Round 6

[Win Ratio: 4-1]

[Me V.S. Justin (2)]

~1st Match~

Interesting that I face him again. I got him down really good. He couldn't draw a single monster to start with. The only thing was defending him was a Sinister Serpent. Then it was game.

~2nd Match~

Finally he drew a good hand, but....so did I. I ended up playing Graceful and Pot everytime. Then later on, he could only play Monster Reborn and got my Spirit Reaper in Defense. He asked Eric if he can do that and you can, since it isn't a target on the field. Only Premature and COTH can effect it. Anyways, he was saying "Well at least he can't get through this monster". I said "I don't think so" and played Raigeki. Then it was game before I attacked with all my monsters.

Results: Won

Swiss Tournament Final Round

[Win Ratio: 5-1]

[Me V.S. Jason]

~1st Match~

Heh it was funny, he didn't want to enter the tourney today but he ended up in the Finals. Wierd eh? Well we got down and he did good, but I did better. I got my Vampire Lord out and nothing could get in his way.

~2nd Match~

His Magician deck was good, but it has alot of high levels. But his "Reasonings" makes up for those high-levels. I said 8, because he had Dark Magician in his grave. Then he pulled Dark Magician Girl with a power up boost from DM in his graveyard. DMG attacked me as she was avenging Dark Magician's death. Boo-hoo DMG, I destroyed her and attack Jason for game.

Swiss Tournament is over

[Win Ratio: 6-1]

[Rank: 1st Place]

I like to say everyone tryed their best and I'm happy for you guys. I know losing is awful, but putting up a good duel makes the difference and that's what I saw today. Today, I think everybody was a winner. Chris C. made an awesome Exodia Deck, running 3x Emissary of Afterlife was a huge success. Justin for an awesome 2 duel match with his Nuts & Bolts deck. And Jason for a good final match.

Prop:

1) Traded some cards to get stuff for an Exodia Deck

2) 1st Place

Slop:

1) Pulled craps from my prize.

Well thats all I have right now. If you do not know, my E-mail Address is Richy2GO@AOL.com. Later.
