This is my first ever tournament report, but I have been to many tournaments before.  I run a pretty good beatdown deck.  Here is my deck.

The tournament started at 2:30, we were there at 1:00.  It was a swiss round robin style tournament. Here's the tourney.
 
Round 1 v.s Justin (dragon deck)
Duel 1- He got his kaiser glider in the graveyard early, monster reborned it and he also had a spear dragon and 1 card face down.  On my turn I played my tribe, destroyed all of his dragons, he lost three turns later.

Duel 2- I had tribe out again and I sacrificed it for Jinzo and I used nobleman on his face down monster, I then attacked him to get him down to 4000.  On his next turn he used change of heart on my jinzo and sacrificed it for his kaiser glider, and he used harpies on facedown cylinder and ring.  On my next turn I played my fairy lily, payed 2000 and attacked his kaiser glider.  Me-1800 Him-3000.  On his next turn he used call of the haunted on his kaiser glider, I didn't have any traps to back me up and he attacked for the win.

Duel 3- He went first.  He summoned spear dragon and set 1 card f/d.  I summon tribe activate its effect and attack him for 1600. Me 8000 Him 6400. He uses change of heart on my tribe sacrifices it for kaiser glider he attacked and I cylindered it.  Me 8000 Him 4000.  My turn, I mystical space typhoon his f/d card, it was waboku.  I snatch stole his kaiser glider, I premature burialed my spear dragon, normal summoned my archfiend soldier and attacked for the win.

Round 2 v.s. Chris (beatdown/chaos)
Duel 1- I totally lost this match, because I used my fairy lily twice, my fairy lily got cylinderd, and I got attacked directly by a gemini elf.

Duel 2- I got him down to 900 and he had a mystical elf in defense which was stopping my attacks, but I eventually got through to his lp with vampire lord.
3-2
Duel 3- He was totally destroying me with his envoy of the beginning until I used sakuretsu armor on it.  I won because of his mistake he used change of heart on my facedown fiber jar and he flipped?  All he had to do was summon a monster with 200 atk or more and he would have won, because I was at 700.  I drew cards on the restart and won with my beatdown monsters.

Round 3 v.s. Josh (yugi/beatdown deck)
Duel 1- I used change of heart on his dark blade and got out 2 spear dragons, it was over on my next turn.

Duel 2- I went first, played archfiend soldier and card f/d.  He played gemini elf and 1 card f/d.  I mystical space typhooned his f/d card it was magic cylinder.  I used graceful charity, dicarded Jinzo and sinister serpent.  I used premature burial on Jinzo, snatch stole his gemini elf , and normal summoned another archfiend soldier.  I had 2 archfiend soldiers, a gemini elf, and a jinzo, that's 8100 atk. I attacked for the win.

Yes, I was in first place in points and I advanced to the semifinals.
 
Semifinals v.s. Devin (warriors/3 star epuip deck with lava golem in it)
Duel 1- He flipped a cyber jar when I attacked with my witch, he didn't draw any monsters and I drew four, 2 archfiends, a spear dragon, and a tribe, plus I got witch's effect , I took vampire lord, but it didn't matter, I attacked for the win.

Duel 2- The same thing as duel 1 except on his cyber jar draw he drew lava golem and sacrificed my fairy lily and my reflect bounder and he had 2 active gravity binds, it took me a while, but I pulled off the win.

Finals v.s. Justin (the dragon champion)
Duel 1-On his first turn he played pot of greed and graceful charity, he summoned spear dragon and set 2 cards f/d.  I use harpie's feather duster on his 2 f/d cards (magic cylinder, and ring of destruction) I then use change of heart on his spear dragon and summon an archfiend soldier and atk with both for 3800. Me 8000 Him 4200.  On his turn he sacrificed his spear dragon for kaiser glider and attacked my archfiend soldier. Me 7500 Him 4200.  My turn I play tribe and destroy his kaiser glider and attacked with tribe, but I stupidly forgot that I had a monster reborn in my hand to reborn his kaiser glider and atk for the win, so I reborned kaiser glider during main phase 2. Me 7500 Him 2600.  I activated ring when he summoned his luster dragon which nearly put him away.  Me 5600 Him 700.  He activated premature burial on a blue eyes that he discarded via graceful charity and he attacked my kaiser glider.  During my turn I set one card f/d.  He summoned a luster dragon and attacked my f/d card it was witch, I took fairy lily from my deck, but he got to my life points with blue eyes.  Me 2600 Him 700. My turn I draw mystical space typhoon and use on his trap card he set a while ago.  I summon fairy lily pay 2000 and attack his luster dragon for the win.

Duel 2-This game was back and forth attacking and he got the edge and beat me.

Duel 3-It was late in the duel my lp were still at 8000 and his were at 700, on his turn he sacrificed to summon tyrant dragon with a blast with chain and attacked me.  I was now at 4600, I had a sinister serpent in my hand I draw from my respective deck and I draw MONSTER REBORN, I activate it to bring back my tribe infecting virus, luckily I had a card in my hand, I destroy all dragons and I then attack for the win.

I took first place in the tournament and received 2 packs of ancient sanctuary.  My two rares were theban nightmare (bad card) and triangle power (for use on low level normal monsters)
