Round 1 vs OK Chaos Deck
Match 1: Well i got an ok start with pot and painful. He didnt put up a
fight. I just kept on attacking with monsters for the win.
Match 2: I got a good start with delinquent duo. I made him waste some
cards with tribe. I set him up for a yata-lock, topdeck a raigeki on his last
card and monster on the field and won.
Round 2 vs Beatdown Deck
Match 1: I got an early advantage over him and he drew some junk, like 2
fissures and all i had was witch and sangan on the field. I won with 8000 life
points.
Match 2: He got a good start and started nailing me down. He then plays
Kycoo and says 1800 and i was at 2200. He goes wait i call that back its under
10 seconds and plays goblin attack force. he then continues and shuffles his
deck. I say im not letting u call that back and called a judge over. after like
10 min of arguing on his part. the head judge says we have to play match 2 over.
Replayed Match 2: I set him up for a yata lock and he concides when he saw
yata come out.
Round 3 vs Tim(Winner of the event)Chaos Control
Match 1: went back and forth hit for hit. i got Spirit Reaper and Don
Zaloog out and killed his hand. Next turn he set a D.D. warrior lady. I top
decked a raigeki. I played Kycoo and attacked. I removed the 2 lights
he had in the graveyard. He then pretty much lost cause he topdecked
nothing.
Match 2: Went the same way match 1 went but alot more close, but the
opposite way.I manged to topdeck a mirage of nightmare but his next draw was a
mst.
Match 3: Was really close. I side decked in a Ceasefire and a Chaos Emperor
Dragon.
I drew ceasefire first draw. I set it and played delinquent duo. I set a
witch of the black forest and ended. He drew and set a fiber jar i actived
ceasefire and i was like yes and he was like damn im screwed. The game was going
good for me. I attacked for the win with witch and mystic tomatoe and he
activates scapegoat. he was at 3400. I was like damn. he played reflect bounder
and attacked my witch. I got scientist. I was at 6400. I had ring of destruction
set for a turn and forgot about it. I play scientist pay 3000. get a ryu senshi
and a dark balter and a thousand eyes restrict. i sucked his reflect bounder. i
was like ill kill the 2 goats with the fusions and hes like thousand eyes
restrict effect. i was like damn. i attacked a goat with thousand eyes restrict.
looked at ring and was like oh thank you. i almost messed up. I ringed the
thousand eyes restrict (hes now at 1700) and contiued to attack with a
fusion then mystic tomatoe and magical scientist for the win exactly 1700.
Round 4 vs great chaos deck(Russain women)
Match 1: I lost first turn to Chaos Emperor Dragon, and Airnight Parshath.
And CED effect.
Match 2: I was ahead i removed her monsters with kycoo i had a sangan out.
I attacked for 2 turns with them she reborned my slate warrior and took out my
kycoo. i had a dark hole and a yata in my hand. i was stupid and didnt realized
it. next turn she topdecked a painful choice and i lost, which if i was
smart would of realized it. :/
Round 5 vs a beatdown control
Match 1: I beat him rather fast and got an advantage and yata-locked
him.
Match 2: he dropped me off for 3 turns in a row. i mst ed one of his traps
set when i drew it.
The game went back and forth then i got vampire lord and yata out on
him. and i won.
Round 6 vs Tom (Second place overall)
Match 1: He got no monsters after i forceful Sentried him. I yata Locked
him second Turn.
Match 2: I just got an advantage and completely took over the game and
attacked with Don Zaloog and Spirit Reaper, then i yata locked him when he was
at 2000.
Top 8 was called.
I was 5th seed.
Round 1 Top 8. I played this cool kid named Scot. We talked when we were
playing so it was a fun match.
Match 1: Was fun we went back and forth. It wasnt going good for me so i
used fiber jar. I then over powered him and he lost.
Match 2: I got a good start. so did he. I snatch stole his Kycoo. And He
then played waboku for the next 2 turns. He was at 10,000 and i was at 7200
after using premature burial on Don Zaloog. He got a big advantage over me. I
set fiber jar. Let him go He summoned slate warrior. He attacked and i was got a
good hand. he set a card and ended. I delinquent duoed his hand and killed 2
monsters with it. I set torrential and waboku. i ended he summoned a monster and
i torrential. I topdecked yata and alls he had was a raigeki in his hand. I
yata-Locked him and in result was automatically getting a trip to
nationals.
Round 2: vs Tom
Match 1: I lost so fast i don't remember
Match 2: he got vamp out and yata and he won fast.
Tom Lost to Tim in the finals.
Funny I had already beaten both the people in the finals. they played good
decks. Props to Tim, Tom, Scot, and the Russian women for making top 4 as well
