Bhret Luscombe
NeoQuest Games Lansdale PA
Hi this is The Dark Master Bhret and heres my first ever deck report. I am currently running a Dark Magician of Chaos deck and if you face me you can expect some massive life point damage, so use those Wabokus wisely. I am feared at my local store because I tend to win with just one massive assault; my largest one time LP damage record is 18,600, but my deck is capable of even more, around 29,000 max. They call me the one-hit wonder, and I will crush all who oppose me!

2x A Hero Emerges if you attack me you will regret it for here comes DMoC
Imperial Order no spells until I decide
Call of the Haunted something from my graveyard Jinzo, DMoC, TER, or MS
The first thing you probably noticed about my deck is that I have a lot of tribute monsters, most of which are 2 tributes. However, this usually does not slow me down too much thanks to Painful Choice, Graceful Charity, Mirage of Nightmare, Magical Scientist, and a Hero Emerges in combination with Monster Reborn, Premature Burial, Call of the Haunted and DMoC. This deck started as a Spellcaster/spell counter deck, but has evolved since IOC was released losing many of its spellcasters and counter cards such as Black Power Stone. As you can see, I dont play a lot of traps because they are prone to MST and Jinzo, for most good duelists in this area run 3 MSTs in their Decks. However, I have a lot of good traps and stuff in my side deck just in case I might need them. Oh yeah here it is.
Side Deck 15
Mystical Space Typhoon Dimension Fusion
Mirror Force Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
Torrential Tribute Despair from the Dark
Ring of Destruction Snatch Steal
Soul Absorption Curse of the Forbidden Spell
Spell Canceller Injection Fairy Lilly
Diffusion Wave Motion Dark Magician
Skilled Dark Magician
1st Game:
Bhret vs. Tom
I helped Tom make his warrior deck by hooking him up with a good trade for Sasuke Samurai and a Marauding Captain. I even gave him a beat up Mirror Force, cause he is a cool little kid, 13 maybe. Anyway I knew his deck pretty well cause he used to beat the snot out of me all the time with his heavy equip deck.
Match 1:
He stalled for a little while with Nimbles and Wabokus until I overwhelmed him with a one shot kill from a field of high tribute monsters doing more than 10,000 in damage.
Match 2:
The second match was also very one sided as I quickly destroyed him with Magical Scientist which was brought to the field by a destroyed Apprentice Magician. TER absorbed his monster and was tributed for DmoC and thanks to a Painful Choice, I overwhelmed him with a barrage of DmoCs with support from Jinzo.
Tom did no damage to me at all in either match. :>)
2nd Game:
Bhret vs. Dave
Dave won last week with a chaos deck, but I was ready for him today.
Match 1:
Breaker did all the work after using his token to get rid of a mirror force with five straight direct attacks for the win. Dave showed me his hand and it had both chaos monsters Jinzo and Dark Ruler Ha Des, and of course he had no monsters in the graveyard thanks to soul release.
Match 2:
I started with Joan on the field thanks to a Hero Emerges. She gained me some points while I wore him down slowly to 1900 LP only to finish him off with a massive assault.
Sorry not this week Dave
3rd Game:
Bhret vs. Thom (Older Teen)
Match 1:
Thom had me on the ropes and was picking away at my life points until I got Painful Choice and finished him off with all 3 DmoC and Jinzo.
Match 2:
Magical Scientist came out early supported by Waboku to win the game with TER, DmoC, Monster Reborn, Jinzo and Raigeki.
Finals:
Bhret vs. Lance (my Brother)
Match 1:
This match went pretty quickly, as I owned him with MS, TER, and DMoC. I protected with Waboku and TER after recalling a tributed one with CoHaunted.
Match 2:
Lance side-decked in his own MS and it won him the game.
Match 3:
I ended up CoHearting his MS for a massive assault with TER absorbing his field tributing both his MS and TER for DMoC getting back Jinzo with Monster Reborn. Then to make things worse, I paid 2000LP to bring back my other 2 DMoC and Joan. This move gave me back Duster and United and I proceeded to lay the smack down for17,600 damage after clearing his useless traps. Ouch!
Woo Whoo! I won the tournament! It has been quite awhile since I won one, partly because I work nearly every Sat until 1pm, but mostly because the kids have been smacking me around. This was the Second week that NeoQuest was running a tourney on Sundays so we only had around 15 people show; therefore, the prizes were light only 2 packs of IOC for the winner, and 1 pack for second. Of course everyone got a pack of Pharaohs Servant for signing up, and those that also came Saturday got 2 packs, thanks Bill you rule.
Props:
To NeoQuest for holding 2 tournaments a week, and giving away good prizes!
To Lance for beating Roy, store champ, thus making it an all Luscombe final!
To Lance for side-decking the Magical Scientist to beat me once
To me for using his Magical Scientist against him to win the tournament
To all the little kids that did not cry when I smacked them around with my deck
To all us older guys who help the kids and newbies with their decks.
Slops:
To FNB of CC, my work, for making me work almost every Saturday, Screw You!
To all you little cheaters and thieves out there, play with honor and be honest.
Well thats it. I hope I made not only my deck obvious but also my strategy, because this took longer to write then I thought it would.
Hey everyone, I am looking to trade both BLS and Chaos Emperor Dragon for a Royal Decree.
To tell me what you think, or if you want to trade drop me an email.
