Introduction: I decided not to use chaos decks for awhile especially i struggled different the regionals and
didnt do good in it. I wanna try something new because it gets boring after awhile playing CCCC for like
few months.
First Round: Me vs Ash (Stalling Dark mimic Exodia Deck)
Result: 2-0 (i win)
Ash is a really good duelist, deserving to be one of the caution duelist i have to be careful with. 1st round was
ugly, i had some cards doesnt work good against his deck such as stone statue and fairy boxes because he
hardly attacks. I still won b/c i played morphing jar and drew better cards and burn him quickly. 2nd round, i
sidedecked those four cards, scapegoat, and gravity bind for 3x solar flare dragon, fiber jar, and 2x compulsory
evacuation device. In 2nd round, i played fiber jar in one round, and gave 2000 damage in one turn (attack with
solar flare dragon and 500 burn at end phase). After that, he kept taking burn damage (at minimum) and then lost.
I offered a handshake as a sign of good game and he relunctantly shook my hand.
Second Round: Me vs Kenneth Thorne (Chaos Spellcaster Deck)
Result: 2-1 (i win)
First round, I got very greedy and lost. I protected my morphing jar with gravity bind/area B and used his effect too
many times with book of moon. As a result, i burn him down to less than 2000, and he killed me with skilled dark
magician and black luster soldier. His luster soldier removed like 3 of my monsters (koala, stone statue, and stealth
bird), i used raigeki break on his bls but then he call of the haunted back and heavy storm the field.
2nd round, i didnt sidedeck, had fate in my cards to win. And i did, i burn him every round with every card i
had at my disposal. I played lava golem and burn him like for 3 turns. thanks to my gravity bind, and area b, i stayed
alive and burn him with just desserts, secret barrel, des koalas, and 2x stealth bird.
3rd round, he make the biggest mistake. He played magical scientist and special summoned two sanwich and
offered right away for sorcor of dark magic. on my first turn i offer his two cards for lava golem, and then did the usual
of locking him with area b and burn him to 0 lps.
Third Round: Me vs Justin (Chaos Deck)
Result: 2-0 (i win)
First round, i got a really bad hand. Got no burn monsters but ddwl and gravity bind and area b. thankfully morphing jar
came to my aid in second turn. played lava golem on him and did his job of eating away his lps. one turn i remembered
he played hallowed life barrier protecting his lps for one turn. But i still won that round.
2nd round, didnt sidedeck and continued on burning him. He managed to pull bls after i played morphing jar.
Darn it, he removed like 3 of my monsters and tried to attack my lps but i played scapegoat and gravity bind for some
stalling time until i drew lava golem. i offer his bls and reflect bounder to special summon lava golem. lava golem burn him
once leaving him to 2300lps and then i finished him off with ring of destruction.
Fourth Round: Me vs Keith (Unknown deck involving some anti-burn cards and FINAL)
Result 2-0 (i win)
Introduction: Keith is the biggest sore loser I have ever met in my entire life. After the duel, he called me a wuss of hiding
behind stalling cards and not attacking him. I in return called him a disgrace duelist. I beat him like 15 times and he only
beats me 3.
First round: i got the right cards to beat him. he never drew final on me because i discarded his letters with card
destruction and morphing jar. At the same time, each move i made, he taunted me until i burned him to 0 lps.
Second round: he took like 5 min to sidedeck, declaring he'll bring me down to my knees. i sidedeck my fairy boxes
and stone statues away for solar flare dragons and fiber jar. this round and previous round, he played thunder of ruler. He got
me off guard. I fibered once, and tried to attack with solar flare, he kuriboh. then he stick his tongue at me for trying to inflict
damage. then i set down m/t cards and then told him to take 500 beating. his turn, he set down hallowed life barrier and i raigeki
break it and continued to burn him down to 0. He couldnt do anything because i had gravity bind, and area b to stop him from
attacking. at the same time, i remove some threats with by exileing his face down cards and lock his monster zone with
ojama trio tokens.
Fifth round: Me vs Patrick (Pure Beatdown Deck, involving Goblin attack force, jinzo, hades, airknight)
Result 2-1 (i win)
First round: i lost because i drew bad cards at bad time. he had don and kycoo attacking me. he played acid trap hole twice on my
monsters, killing morphing jar and ddwl. I tried to stall, i did for a while but not long enough until he palyed heavy storm. He also
mocked me by playing like a paranoid and used barrel behind the door once and i took the damage.
Second round: i won, i locked him with gravity bind and lava golem. and also burning him with stealth birds, and des koalas. I remembered
using book of moon too. I believe it was a quick match and securing the victory.
Third round: Same as second round, i sealed his fate of winning. I admit he's good, I gave like 150% effort in winning. He is definitely
upset (same goes with Justin, Keith) having the feeling that i robbed victory out of them by playing a really harsh and bruteful deck.
After the stood, i had the chance to offer a handshake and he refused. As a matter of fact, he slapped it. I told him "i was offering
you a handshake". He replied rudely "i know". then i said "fine, be that way." then Keith sort of threaten that he'll make a deck just to counter
my burn deck and see what i would do if i get locked in that situation.
After the tournament, I went to claim my prize. I got a SoD pack because I paid $8, and got Mind of Air. I decided to save my store credit and
ask Jeff, the store owner, to add it to my account. Then i packed up and left the store for dinner.
Props:
-Ash, showing both respect and sportsmanship, also for playing good against me even though he lost.
-Ken T, being a good duelist, and putting me in the edge of my life.
-My burn deck, still managed to pull through, and the burn cards often come at right time for me to use, especially lava golem and the stall cards.
-My burn deck again, won 3 tourneys in a row.
-Jeff, being a cool store owner, adding my store credit to my account.
Slops:
-Patrick, being a sore loser like Keith and hangs out with him, slapped my hand instead of shaking it as sign of sportsmanship.
-Keith, being all-time loser, calling me a wuss after i destroyed him because i hided behind the stalling cards (gravity bind and area b), he doesnt realize that burn decks never meant to attack
-I got crap in my pack, Mind on Air, i got like 4 already
-Small tourney and small prize
thanks for taking time to see my tourney report.
