(Before I start, I'd like to ask everyone to read the bottom of the page, the few paragraphs below the Pro's/Con's before you leave, thank you)

Sorry this took so long to send in, but I've had a long weekend that was very tiring, physically, mentally, and emotionally. But I'll get as much out to you this week as I can, since it's been a few days since the tourney and I have a short term memory >_>. I DO remember this awesome trade I did at the tourney though. I traded a Rope of Life ULR and $10 for; Ryu Senshi, Dark Blade The Dragon Knight, Darkfire Dragon, Hiro's Shadow Scout (MRL), Zaborg The Thunder Monarch, and Hammer Shot. Anyhow, it was a great trade, and that definitely was one of the finer moments of the night, even though I did it after I was out, so I couldn't use them in my deck. I used basically the same deck, more or less, from last week, but I disassembled it after this tourney for my more potent Warrior deck, so I can't quite remember the changes. Just know that they were very minimal.

MATCH #1: Alex's Fiends vs. Jesse's Dragons

Duel #1: I did well in this one, as I was able to use Newdoria to keep field advantage, and well placed traps to help defend. TER pwn'd. WIN.

Duel #2: He was mostly using a combo of both Armed Dragon and Horus, with some other staples and fillers. But Ha Des and Giant Orc were to strong a combo for him. WIN. (Sorry for not remembering this match well, but as I said, I've had a stressful weekend. and many things have been going on, so I have an excuse >_>;)

MATCH #2: Alex's Fiends vs. Andrew's Warriors

Before I start, I'd like to let you all know that this isn't Andrew's real deck. You see, the league's best player (and judge) has been lending his deck to certain players, so they can use and see his deck. This, you might think, is cheap, but the players like it because they usually can't duel him, and he's very respected around here for being an overly great Pokemon player as well, one of the best here. So they LIKE playing against him, or at least, his deck, you see. Just thought I'd mention that he doesn't use BLS or Magical Scientist either. BTW, Andrew lent HIS deck to another player that is a regular at the night tourneys, so that was kinda humorus.

Duel #1: Ouch, ouch, and more ouch. We started, and before I knew it, I was hit by a Command Knight and Goblin Attack Force at the same time. Talk about overkill. I don't think I got him below 3500 the entire match. Enemy Controller was a problem, especially against my Giant Orcs. He just had a counter to everything, as a good warrior deck should. Shows that he really is the best in the league. LOSS.

Duel #2: Again, I didn't last very long. My fiends weren't fast enough to keep up with those pesky warriors speed. I think I got out Necrofear once, but he was attacked by a Goblin, so I used IMT to save it. I ended up getting it attached to a Goblin anyway, somehow, and that hurt, real bad. He was in defense mode and I didn't have anything to help me out after that. For some reason, newdoria didn't help me any, and Meta wasn't drawn. LOSS.

BATTLE FOR TOON GEMINI ELF

As with the past few weeks, if you get knocked out early enough, you can have time to duel for a free TGE. Wins count for 3 points, losses count for 1.

MATCH #1: Alex's Fiends vs. Chris's Normal Monsters

This guy had a beatdown deck that focused on normal monsters and Paladin of White Dragon/BEWD. He had a trap from AST that brought back a normal monster from the grave, and had a few other normal monster themed cards.

Duel #1: TER was pure pwnage. I got him out within a few turns and had him remove about 6 monsters. I finally unleashed him using Book of Moon and killed the guy in 1 strike with Ha Des's, and a powered up Slate Warrior. WIN. (3 points)

Duel #2: De ja freakin vu. Had the necessary cards from turn 1, but waited a few turns to set everything up and make him waste his removal cards, if he had any. I ended up doing the same thing to him, and locked up the field with TER, but he SS'd about a half-dozen turns later and got my Ha Des with TER's effect. Next turn I play Sinister Serpent and Torrential Tributed the field. I basically used some beatdown to finish him off after that. WIN. (6 points)

MATCH #2: Alex's Fiends vs. Jesse's Dragons

Duel #1: He played like a different person this time. I had a much harder time taking out his dragons. It seamed as though every time I looked up, he had an Armed Dragon LV7 or Horus LV6/8 out! I got him this first duel by using my staple M/T's to carry me, and by getting necrofear out to help me too. His Armed dragon's effect was deadly, as it took out both my Newdoria one turn, but that helped get out my Necrofear taht I mentioned above. I think I got out TER later in the duel, but I still won. WIN. (9 points)

Duel #2: I screwed up, ROYALLY, this time. I had it going well enough, even though he got out Armed LV7 early on, with a masked Dragon also on the field. I played Newdoria and then Creature Swap. I don't really know what I was thinking. I think, in a lapse of knowledge, that I forgot that the respective players chose which monsters get swapped. I got Masked Dragon, while feeling very stupid. Well, that sucked, and I still made him somehow trigger that dang MD's effect, getting him another dragon. I lost soon after. LOSS. (10 points)

Well, he had 4 duels won when we started, and once he won that last one, it seperated us to where I couldn't get that dang Elf. He had 5 duels won and 1 lost, so I couldn't make a comeback, since you can't duel the same person twice in a row and have the 2nd one count, and since we where the only ones left dueling for it, and time was almost up anyway. *sigh* Oh well.

Well, the good thing is, my friend Devon won the whole thing with his Zombie deck. He absolutedly crushed everyone there. Even the #1 player in the league's deck didn't stand a chance. He got 9 packs: 2 LOD, 2 AST, 2 SOD, 2 RDS, 1 TP5. He got End of Anubis, His 2nd Fiber Jar, Mobius, Horus LV6, and I think another good card, but he let me have an LOD, AST, and an RDS pack, so that rocked. I got a Necklace of Command, Spell Ecenomics, and Night Assailant as my memorable cards. Even though the cards were only Rare's, they were above average and a great gesture of friendship, so thanks a bunch dude, you rock!

Pro's:

+ I got that uber trade with all of the fusions and stuff.

+ Devon won the tournament, and got so many packs and great cards.

+ Devon giving me some packs, thanks devon!

Con's:

- Losing against Glen's deck that I've wanted to face for so long. At least I know where that Fiend deck of mine stands... which isn't that good >_> Oh well, back to my warrior... AND PLACING HIGHER >.<

- Not getting anything in my TP5 pack while the guy JUST before me pulls a Needle Worm, and he bought a BLS at the start of the tourney too.

- The weekend and what happened, I don't feel like explaining.

I went to another card shop yesterday. Not to duel, just to buy cards. The man there didn't have but a handful of cards, and they were easily findable starter deck holo's and such. The best one there was a PSV Dust Tornado. I found another Book of Moon mixed in with his commons though, and bought an RDS pack, BoM, and another Metamorphosis for $5 even. Not bad at all. At least this man lets you suggest prices, while still knowing the true value of the card (If you go too low, he probably lets you know and suggests a higher price, but I always go within the normal, yet slightly lower price range).

He says that if there are enough people, that he will start a tourney, and put all of the entry money towards prizes. IF YOU LIVE IN THE COLUMBIA/LUGOFF AREA (OR CLOSE ENOUGH TO IT), PLEASE EMAIL ME AND WE CAN SEE ABOUT STARTING THAT TOURNEY. IT WILL BE CHEAPER THAT $10 MOST LIKELY.

The Store is called 'The Nexus', and is in a building with a Karate dojo. It is in Lugoff, and is in the strip with the Piggly Wiggly, and has a Sonic in the area as well. If you know where it is, please go visit and tell him about starting a Yugioh Tourney there. He also sells hords of M:TG cards and a few others, along with a few anime things. Please contact me if you think that this is a good idea. He can also get you just about any card you want in the game. I asked him to look for BLS for me, and he said it might take a week or more, but that he has the lowest prices. Anyway, having two major tourney locations in the area is a great idea, and I hope it works out.

Next week is the Flaming Eternity Release tournament at the FAB, and it'll be great. I'll definitely have a report for that.  *Crosses Fingers for: Silent Swordsman LV5, Gearfried The Swordmaster, Lightning Vortex, and a few others*
