 Saikyo Cardfighter R Oh this motherfucker. If one wishes to juggle resources correctly, this thing is a +2 every turn, not even including the fact that the resource recharge isn’t even GB restricted. Or the extra attack and thus at least a -1 from the opponent. It’s efficient in a way that not too many other Stride skills can compare to. The crux of the meta’s best deck. 4/5 |

What’s up, Rogue Squad?! We’re wrapping up this whole Star Gate week with the bane of every pest Pokémon in Mt. Moon: Zubat Battler, Victor. Now, I could just summarize this entire review in three words: “screw this card”, but allow me to elaborate. The on Stride skill let’s you draw a card, call a card and let any one unit on the field restand a different rear-guard for more rushing attacking crap. Combine this with the newest Victor stride, and you’ll be gaining so many pluses and forcing so many minuses into your opponent that it just gets frustrating while you’re on the receiving side of this. Not to mention that if you’re low on resources on the end of turn as far as Counterblast and soul, then this Victor gives you a refund on them, and if you needed to refund both of them, then you get a free draw to go with it! Seriously…this card…screw it… Rating: 4/5 Next Time: We get our peek at G Set 14. Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Fight the Meta!!! |
