12.10.01  First off, congrats to contributor and former editor Scott Gerhardt for his top 8 performance in Las Vegas. I would have made the trip but I'm very poor and Las Vegas is very far. Undoubtedly I would have done much worse than Scott did.

One of the things that came out was all the new technology! I love that, the surprise decks that do well. My favorite has to be Comer's U/G concoction. I played it a few games and it’s really amazing how well it performs. Do watch out for Wasteland though, that card is a killer. It’s scary to run only 10 land in a sixty-card deck.

This upcoming week I'll be in Houston for a PTQ. I'm truly afraid to play U/R Donate again. So much hate is available that I might be forced to change. Because I rely on friends for cards though, I might end up stuck with what I've got.

Thanks to everyone that submitted a deck to me. I'm going to have a link up soon so that others chance check out the ideas on this new set. No one has been able to come up with a combo deck, but the beatdown decks I've received are very fierce. Please keep sending me those decklists.

Christmas is coming up and I'm looking forward to spending time with my family. The week after Christmas I'll be gone for six days so don't expect to hear much from me. Pojo should keep operating things smoothly in my leave.
