Torrential VS. Mirror Force-Chaos Soldier - Daniel Wood

Hello readers it's Chaos Soldier back with a CCG tip this time. Today I will be reviewing 2 very strong trap cards, torrential tribute and mirror force.
Both are good, but which one is really better.

First lets start with Torrential Tribute. TT says: You can activate this card when a monster is Summoned (including Flip Summon and Special Summon).
Destroy all monsters on the field. Well this card has its pros and cons.
Pros: Destroy facedown and face up monsters. Works on your opponents and your turn. You can special summon something from your graveyard activate TT and then normal summon and attack directly. Can chain to scapegoat. Can clear the field for a direct attack.

Now for the cons: trap-that means it is negated by jinzo. Destroys your monsters too. Not chainable to destruction like MST. Can kill your opponents Sangan and then give them a monster. If you destroy all monsters on the field they might special summon and then attack directly. Basically if you activate this card you better have a way to protect yourself from your opponent summoning a monster on their next turn and then attacking you.
Rating:4/5 for its weakness to spell/trap removal.

Now onto Mirror Force. MF is definately one of my favorite traps. MF's effect says: When an opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position. Well first for the pros. MF can negate an attack and destroy ALL of your opponents faceup attack position monsters. It is like a giant sakuretsu armor. Can help clear field. Can give you field advantage.

Cons: MF like TT is weak to spell/trap removal because it cannot be chained to it. Also MF only kills face up monsters not face down. Also it only kills attack mode monsters. Plus like all traps MF is negated by Jinzo.
Rating: 4.5/5

So over all I rate Mirror Force higher than Torrential Tribute because it gives you better field advantage. Even though I rate Mirror Force higher don't count out Torrential Tribute, it can be quite helpful. In fact I run both Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute in my deck.
