Elemental Recharge

Life gain usually sucks in this game. This card doesn't change that much.

From all the discussions the top players in the game have had on a card's value, it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 1700-2000 LP. So if one card of advantage is worth 2,000 LP, in order for this to be worth playing, it has to gain more than that. In order for that to happen, you'd have to have 3 Elemental Hero monsters out on the field -- that's a tough feat to accomplish.

Dedicated E-Hero decks get some help, but not much -- the tough thing is that when an E-Hero deck needs life, it's usually because it's getting its face bashed in by a cookie-cutter deck player, and won't be able to keep ONE monster on the field, let alone two or three. And if you actually do manage to get 3 or 4 of 'em out at once, you probably don't need the life gain, you need a card that can clear out your opponent's Spell or Trap cards so all of the E-Heroes you miraculously got onto the field can attack for game.

1/5 for conflicting with the goals of an E-Hero deck, and being good only at the wrong times.

Elemental Recharge:
Cool picture. Rubbish card, though you could have worked that out from the presence of "Elemental Hero"
in the text box.

It is very rare that gaining Life Points is genuinely useful, instead of just delaying the inevitable. This is not one of those times. Elemental Heroes don't gain anything by having lots of Life Points, and having lots of Elemental Heroes on the field is somewhat counterproductive (owning to their being rubbish and being preferably in the Graveyard for Miracle Fusion).
As such, this is a pile of poo. However, remember that there are much worse cards in existence.

ewww, a trap card that benefits you only upon having elemental hero's on the field. Under normal circumstances you will probably only have 2 e-hero's out. Thus under normal circumstances this card will increase your LP by 2000. The ability to increase them by 5000 is tempting, but not likely sense the E-Hero's have low stats, usually no effect, and simply said the vulnerability of s/t removal and bigger monsters.

All in all I think the D-Hero monsters are better (at least they have effects) On that note, neo-spacien monsters are utter garbage, and e-hero's (with the exception of a few) are useless. Honestly, the only time Avian will see play is if some godly fusion is made with him that gives you 8 draws and destroys all of your opponents s/t.

Elemental Recharge ;

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Elemental Hero decks do not have room to squeeze in support like this, they’re already maxed out as it is.

At best, I can see elemental recharge giving you 2000 lp back, which I suppose is pretty sweet, but not worth running over the other support we’ve gotta squeeze in in order for the deck to be a success.

Although, it may be good side deck material depending on what’s out there. Still, I like it. It’s a decent stab at it, and its not all bad, although sometimes I feel that they just make these cards to keep Jaden alive for one more turn.

MikeJ Elemental Recharge

Basic Summary: Now you think we could go a week without reviewing a Hero card but since there is soo many its too much to ask for for =/. Now being a trap it gets minus points for being slow but another minus for being reliant on Hero on the field. Now ok some E Hero cards are not bad but this card is one of the many really bad ones I suggest if you're brave enough to run E-Hero and not get laughed at be the snobby " pros " leave this in your common bin period.

Conclusion: Sorry for the short review but I dislike crappy E-Hero support but this takes the cake just run the usuall Miracle Fusion + Skyscrapper plain and simple.

Traditional Format > 1/5: Just Nooo =/

Advance Format > 1/5: Just Noo again =/

Artwork > 1/5: Artworks is pretty weird

I didn’t know this card existed till I saw it on the COTD list…shame on me!

I’ve always been on the fence with Life Gain cards. Can someone please make a good Life Gain deck that tests well and e-mail it to me at: deathjester86@gmail.com? We’ll test it on YVD or something.

This card is best used in an E-Hero deck. 1000 LP for each E-Hero is really nice. E-Heroes don’t necessarily swarm as easily as D-Heroes, so I don’t think this card will do very well in the average E-Hero deck.

Last Word:  Even if you like E-Heroes I wouldn’t use it. Maybe you could activate it before your Fusion Summon an E-Hero when you have 2 E-Heroes on the field. Other than that…
