Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand takes a peek into the new Shadow Specters booster, being one big XYZ Monster, at Rank 8, requiring two Level 8 Monsters for an XYZ Summon.  Felgrand is a Light attributed Monster (compatible with Honest) and a Warrior, with 2800 attack and 1800 defense.  Now, once a turn, during either players' turn, you can detach an XYZ Material from this card to negate the effect(s) of one face-up Monster on the Field.  Said Monster is, however, unaffected by other card effects.  This is amazing, and something you can use against your opponent to destroy something without its effect hindering you, or so you can use a Monster without an effect holding you back.  Say like Crazy Box that we looked at recently, or Acid Golem of Destruction.  Just to name a couple.  The 2800 attack is good, and this is certainly a card I'd play in a Dragon Deck, or anywhere else you can make a Rank 8 with relative ease.

Hey guys today we are going to be doing an under appreciated rank in the game. Divine Dragon Felgrand is a rank 8 Xyz (which I will add is a growing pool of great Xyzs here) and it effect only gets better...
You can detach a material and Whalah... Instant protection on any of your monsters including himself.. Now it's the card you target
effect(s) is negated, but I can think of a couple of cards that go really well with having it's effect negated. *cough* Beast King Barborous *cough* who might I add is level 8 himself. Overall, like I said a welcomed card seeing that Level 8 monsters aren't as easy to come by to make this guy.

Trad: 4 (I see a lot of play here)
Adv: 3.5 (Pretty solid)

Alright today we are reviewing a new rank 8 Xyz monster that is really good.  It‘s a generic Xyz monster that will probably see a bunch of play.  Let’s look into why this card is so good.

Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand

Attribute-Light
Types-Warrior/Xyz/Effect

2 level 8 monsters

Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; this turn, its effects are negated, but it is unaffected by other card effects.
ATK/2800                                                       DEF/1800

So what makes this card so good?  It has great stats with a great effect.  You can use its effect to negate monster effects and can even use this card as a forbidden lance-type of an effect.  You can also use the effect at any time because it is a quick effect.  It is just so versatile and powerful.  The only problem is that there aren’t many decks that can summon this monster easily.  The only decks that I expect to see playing this card is Dark Worlds, Gagagas, and Dragon ruler decks using rank 8’s.

Advanced: 4/5
- This card is great in any deck that can make it consistently.  The only problem is that there aren’t a lot of decks right now that can utilize it well.

Traditional: 3/5
- I think this card could have some playability here.  It’s a light monster and it could be useful.  The only problem with it here is that it doesn’t enable any OTK’s.

Art: 5/5
- This card looks badass.  It’s great to finally see a card that is both useful and has cool art.
