Mai
is one of the greatest
She had a picnic with Yugi and his friends that night, but disappeared. Later, after their clash with Bakura, they heard her scream. She had been eliminated by Panik. Luckily, Yugi won back her eight star chips for her and she repaid him five star chips after he lost to Kaiba. Yugi refused, so Tea duelled Mai for them. Mai surrendered after Tea beat her Harpy Lady. The next day, Mai and Yugi duelled in the playoffs. Yugi was put off by Pegasus and refused to let Yami Yugi duel for him. Mai then snapped him out of it and Yugi and Yami Yugi teamed up to finish the duel with the Black Luster Soldier, who defeated her Harpy’s Pet Dragon. She surrendered. Mai was out and gave Joey her Glory of the King’s Hand card, which is required to duel and to claim the prize money, because Joey had lost his. Joey eliminated Bandit Keith, who confessed to have stolen his card while Joey was sleeping. It wasn’t the end of Mai. She appeared and helped Yugi, Joey and Mokuba rescue Kaiba when Kaiba was trapped in his video game pods. She went by the name of Madam Butterfly and wore a mask, but Joey recognised her strategy and identified her. She went on to help them until the final baddie, the Mystic Dragon, destroyed her every monster. only rival when she picks a fight with joey she gets
more then a scared little dog she gets the time wizard
which eliminates her harpies. After the defeat she plots
revenge on joey by getting rex raptor but he loses to

She may seem like a self-absorbed, sometimes heartless girl that misuses her beauty but inside, deep inside she is kind, but still ruthless. ~Lava~ ----------------- Mai Valentine hasn't entered the "quest" to save enyone like Joey saving his sister, Yugi saving his grandfather, or Seto saving his brother...she did for Make-up, hair supplies, etc. - SmartBlond ------------ Many people think of Mai as a selfish and self absorbed brat. But she does think of people like Yugi. I also like how she keeps on building the strength of her Harpie Ladies. She's not bad lookin either! Mai Valentine
is a seductive duel monsters champion, who knows what
she wants, and how to get it. And ever since her battle
with Joey, exposing her as a fake, <during the battle
between them, she could distinguish one card from
another because she had sprayed them all with
different perfumes -this way she could psyche her
opponent out by saying she was psychic as an
excuse.> and his battle with Rex Raptor, she has
somewhat turned over a new leaf. Yugi, (being the
kindhearted person that he is) won back all eight of
Mai's starchips after being beaten by an eliminator
named Panic. Just that is why she lost, she
panicked. A while after, Mai returned the favor by
giving Yugi ten star chips, just in time, for Yugi had
lost a duel against Seto Kaiba. Deep down, Mai is really
a good person, who wants to be friends with Yugi &
co., but her appearance and attitude has helped her
become a stronger person. Maybe

------------- Mai plays the basic role of the dumb blonde.On the first look,you'd think she was all looks and no brains,but deep down ,she's really nice. When Kaiba beat Yugi, she offered Yugi her spare starchips. Of course,she did owe him. BIG TIME!!!!!! Even though she's not the smartest person (or the sweetest) on Dulist Kingdom, she's a pretty good dulist.I think Joey might be sweet on her. Mai's lost to(just a few) Joey Panic,the Eliminator(but he cheats) Mai isn't really duling for anyone special(except herself) ,but when she dules,her hearts' still in it.I think she and Joey would make a cute couple. --MJS15908 -------------- Mai Valentine: Mai is a very tough duelist with an attitude. She specializes with the Harpies Sisters cards, but also uses a lot of Magic cards to up-grade them. In my opinion Mai has too many Magic cards for her own good. Personality wise, she's might can be mean, but she does care for Yugi ( watch out Taia ) a lot. Believe it or not she might be Joey's rival but she kinda likes him ( well I know he likes her ). She does have a heart but she went to duelist kingdom for her own selfish desires. - Ashleigh Jernigan the Yu-Gi-Oh nut ------------ Mai Valentine: Mai becomes more of a
main character in the series later on. She is captured in
some sort of pyramid...thing and is unconscious because of
it, which drives Joey over the edge a number of times.
Also, before she goes unconcious Mai is captured by Malik
and Joey goes to protect her from some sort of energy
attack but Yami jumps in the way and takes the blast for
both of them. Mai's Japanese voice seems far too kind for
her personality. ----------
Mai is first seen in the series as a vain blonde, but
later on she gets to be pretty nice. In the beginning
after being beaten by Joey and his Baby Dragon/Timewizard/Thousanddragon
combo, all she can think about is beating Joey in a duel
so she tells Rex Raptor that she'll re-duel him after
beating him on the ship for his nicer private room if she
can beat Joey. He can't and gets illiminated from duelist
kingdom. later she duels Tae on Yugi's account because
he's so shaken from losing to Kaiba that he says that
he'll never duel again. she couldve beaten Tae with a
harpies sweeps but says some cards are better left
unturned.any way in the future she becomes an unofficial
member of the group. Marik (latest bad guy) captures her
in a pyrimid thing and Joey jumps in front of her, then
yamiyugi jumps in front of both of them. looks like love
between Joey and Mai to me! ---- Mai Valentine- The fierce girl
duelist of the group. Mai proves herself mutiple times
in the show Yu-Gi-Oh! and is one of the top ranked
duelist in the game. Mai is the not the easiest of
duelist when it comes to dueling her, espailly if your
on her bad side. Mai has a crush on Joey which is secret
to the group. But the most we know is, she is not your
usual dumb blonde when it comes to dueling. - Kari

heart, but she is a strong
duelist. Her Harpies Lady cards are something to be
concerned about. Especially when they multiply with the
help of her Elegant Egotist card. She loses a match to
Joey because he uses time wizard on her Harpies Lady army.
She also loses to Tea, in a match to get Yugi some star
chips that he lost to Kaiba. She could have beaten her,
but she pulled her Harpies Feather Duster back to her hand
claiming that she has no cards that could beat Tea's
Shining Friendship (equipped with Silver Bow and Arrow,
and Elf's Light), when she could have used Harpies Feather
Duster to get rid of Shining Friendships equip, Magic
items. So she gives up 6 of her star chips so that Yugi
could enter Pegasus's castle because she realized that
Yugi is playing for higher stakes then she is. So she ends
up not being as mean as originally portrayed. I think that
Mai should be in the showq more, because she would add
some much needed Attitude to the group. :) Mystical
