Dark Paladin

Queen of Thorns is another very interesting Synchro monster who is a Plant monster and Level 6, with only 2200 attack and 1800 defense of the Light attribute, and is Synchro summoned with 1 Tuner and 1 or more non-Tuner type monster.

Each player must pay 1000 Lifepoints to Normal or Special Summon a non-Plant-type monster from their Hand. This card could be quite annoying for your opponent. The Lifepoint cost could be quite a nuisance, until your opponent does get something to steamroll Queen of Thorns.

2200 attack isn't going to last long, and there are still plenty of Magic and Trap cards your opponent can play to destroy your monster without even having to play one of their own. This monsters should sit in your trade binder.

General Zorpa Queen of Thorns

Now here is an EXCELLENT monster. She has 2200 ATK, 1800 DEF and is of the EARTH attribute and Plant type. She is a level 6 Synchro, but she can be easily summoned in a pLant deck. Her effect is that whenever you or your opponent plays a non-plant monster, that player loses 1000 lifepoints.

NICE! Basically if you aren't up against a mirror match, you willbe doing extra damage each time our opponent plays a monster, which is amazing. Combine this with all of the fury that your plants can unleash, and duels will end a lot quicker.

Jerome McHals played Nettles in his Plant deck at SJC Detroit almost to take exclusive advantage of this card. Combined with Miracle Fertilizer, you can keep on getting her back, so that even if your opponent manages to get past Black Garden and Queen of Thorns, you can almost instantly bring her back to cause more mayhem.

Super Rare

Queen of Thorns is a Synchro monster for plants of course. Anytime a non plant is normal or special summoned that player pays 1000 Life Points, but when your playing a plant deck, it shouldn't be a problem. This card will make the opponent set monster unless they have a way getting of the field. It could be a little stronger for being a 6 star monster, but if you have a way protect it, burning your opponent or making them play defensive will give you more plays.

Anteaus Queen of Thorns

This card will really good. It's ATK and DEF aren't amazing, so I wouldn't be expecting it to stay on the field too long, but it'll definitely slow the game down and make the Plant deck that much more interesting to play. With this card on the field, players will be forced to get rid of it or pay a ridiculous amount of LP in order to start their combos running, and pay even more to keep them going. This'll slow the tempo down and give power back to the tempo-control builds instead of the fastest. I wouldn't be surprised to see this card running over people at locals and regionals, to be honest.

Traditional: 1/5 (still no support for Plants)
Advanced: 4/5 (in a Plant deck)
