While this card
is face-up on the field its Attribute is also
treated as LIGHT. Once per turn, this card cannot be
destroyed by battle. When this card is Tribute
Summoned, you can add 1 Level 3 monster from your
Deck to your hand.

Thank God for Friday, as it brings us to something
that I don't believe gets a 1/5 right away, Sphere
of Chaos, who looks like another Jar, but evil,
demented, chaotic perhaps? We have a Dark attributed
Level 5 Machine type monster with 1600 attack, and 0
defense, and while a tribute is bad in this case, it
at least can do something reasonably useful.
First, it is also treated of the Light attributed,
which will generally be more fun than anything else.
When Tribute Summoned, you can add one Level 3
monster from your Deck to your Hand, which is most
likely going to be a Tuner of sorts for a Synchro
Summon.
It's not a terrible card, but it is hurt by the
Tribute factor, despite the fact it needs it in
order for the second effect to go off. It's not the
worst Synchro option out there, especially if you
use this too.

General Zorpa
Sphere of Chaos
This guy had his moment of glory in the US National
Championships, where a player managed to lose in a
feature match. Basically, this guy is used with
Chaos End Master in order to Synchro Summon, but
beyond that there is no real use for him. He does
get you a level 3 monster form your deck when
tribute summoned, but since the goal of the deck was
to Special Summon him anyway, there is no real
reason for that effect to even be relevant.
The card is not bad, just mediocre, and mediocre
cards get pushed to the scrap heap until people find
a way to make them not mediocre anymore. This is a
prime example of one of those cards that begs to be
abused, but is hard to find out exactly where it
fits within the grand scheme of the game.

Today’s card up for review is Chaos End Master.
Right out of the gate, you should know about the
combo with this guy and Chaos End Master. You have a
low chance to actually tribute summon for Sphere,
and would be a waste really. Outside of comboing
with Chaos End Master, he can’t do too much. Sorry
for the short review, but not much can be said about
him. The card is actually decent with End Master, so
maybe try it out

Sphere of Chaos ...
This is another one of those cards that makes u
scratch your noodle, thinking - "ok ... there MUST
be something i can do with this card that i'm just
not seeing ..." ... and I'm not gonna tell u that
you're wrong ... I'm just gonna say - Who cares?
He's got a very intentional 1600 ATK and a very
deliberate 5 stars, which makes him very compatible
with the other Chaos monster we reviewed a couple
weeks back, but like i said - Who cares? Both of
them are interesting, but neither of them are good
enough to stand alone on the field ... especially
this one that requires a tribute. At least he sorta
makes up for himself by allowing u to get a level 3
monster to your hand from your deck, and that could
be oh so many things ... but then u've got a 1600
ATK monster on the field, to do what now? Seriously
- wouldnt u just rather have a monarch or pretty
much ANYTHING else on the field at this point?
Again - i'm sure there are combos involving him ...
he's interesting enough to create some ... but it'll
never be worth the trouble to execute.

Thank god its Friday,
and today we'll be reviewing Sphere of Chaos. Like
Light and Darkness Dragon, while it is on the field
it is both Dark and Light attributed. Sphere of
Chaos also cannot be destroyed in battle once per
turn and when its tribute summoned you can add any
level 3 monster from your deck to your hand. Now off
the top of my head, cards like Exodia the Forbidden
One, Sangan, Airbellum, Psychic Commander, and
various others are decent level 3 monsters you'd
want to add to your hand, mostly Chaos-End Master
though, this card however really isn't as useful as
its counterpart, Chaos-End Master. Chaos-End Master
makes this card decent however with its ability to
Special Summon Sphere of Chaos from the deck to
instantly tune into any level 8 monster. In its own
deck, its a decent card but in other decks, not such
a good card.

Parallel Fates
Sphere of Chaos.... a
card that was literally made for use in conjunction
with Chaos End Master. With only 1600 attack, by
itself, it is not a monster that is meant to hold
its own ground in battle, but that is where its
effect comes into play. Once per turn it cannot be
destroyed by battle. Quite frankly, that effect can
turn out huge as it may provide you with an extra
turn to pull off a synchro summon.
This card's main attribute is dark, however it may
also be treated as a light-type monster, meaning
that you can use Honest on it. This will be a play
that will likely catch your opponent off guard 9 out
of 10 times. This card is not supposed to be
summoned via tribute, so its secondary effect of
adding a level 3 monster to hand is pretty much
useless. You're not too likely to waste a tribute on
such a weak monster. The primary purpose of this
card is to be summoned by Chaos End Master, attack,
and be used to synchro summon.
Outside of a deck that focuses on Chaos End Master,
this card will not see any play at all.
