Karakuri Cash Cache (previously known as Borrowed Warehouse) is a funny little Spell that's sort of like Karakuri Merchant without the summon, but it can only search monsters. The position change occurs after the search, so this is an excellent card for triggering those position effects, such as Steel Shogun, Anatomy and Trick House.

That being said, while I think this is a staple, I wouldn't use it over Merchant. The Merchant is a straight-up +1 (or walking, non-self-sacrificing Pot of Greed if you pick Anatomy) and goes great with this. In a pure Karakuri deck, this will allow you to search for any Karakuri card you want, without slowing the deck down. Karakuris didn't necessarily need this card, but it's certainly a welcome addition.

4/5
Art: This is where Merchant keeps his stuff, maaan.
Fun Fact: Gold Series 4 comes with a playmat.
Tomorrow: Merchant's stuff, maaan.

Today is another support card for an overlooked archetype, though recently a version of this deck, Karakuri Machina plant, or KMP, was being used, and is still making some sort of an impact. This card is basically the RoTA of Karakuri. It says that you may target one of your Karakuri monsters, search your deck for a Karakuri monster and add it to your hand, then switch the targeted monster's battle position. This card is really important in straight up Karakuri, but since that version of the deck isn’t super competitive, it's not used much. Plus, in the deck that is used, KMP, there isn't any room for it. So overall, it is a good card, but it's overshadowed by so many better choices.

Karakuri Cash Cache...say that five times fast...anyway, we have a simple Magic card.  There isn't a whole lot to say here.  You play this, select a Karakuri mosnter on your Field that's face-up, change its Battle Position, and add a Level 4 Karakuri monster from your Deck to your Hand. This is like a super watered down Reinforcements of the Army for them.  I don't like it a whole lot, but it honestly isn't terrible for them.
