If there is a face-up "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" or "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" on the field: Target 2 of your banished cards; add those targets to your hand.

Continuing the theme of last week, we're looking at
cards that have had their status changed on the new
Ban List. We open the week with Primal Seed, a
card that higher end players should consider taking
a look at. This card only works with Black
Luster Soldier--Envoy of the Beginning (or CED in
Traditional) that allows you to add two of your
removed from play cards to your Hand as long as BLS
is on the Field. Note it doesn't specify, for
starters, which side. Now, odds are this
likely could be a removed Tuner, or even two Tuners.
Dimension Fusion is Banned, and Return From the
Different Dimension is Restricted. In card
advantage alone, this is a +1, that could end up
being more.

Primal Seed
Some people didn't even know what Primal Seed was
until it got Limited. If you knew, give yourself a
Mokey Mokey on the back. This is on the list to stop
people from looping when Macro Cosmos is out. But
other than that, this is a really situational card
for a monster that can only be searched through The
Warrior Returning Alive [or Call/Reborn]. Don't use
it.

Fun Fact: Did you pick up the new tins? They have
Duality!
Tomorrow: It's back! Yay!
Primal Seed begins part two of our
Forbidden/Limited discussion. When I saw this
card on the list I had to look it up due to it being
released way before I started playing the game (you
lost). Upon reading the effect I instantly knew why
they limited this card. It boils down to a plus one
recursion of your banished monsters and all you need
is either a Chaos Emperor Dragon – Envoy of the End
(Banned) or a Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the
Beginning (NEWLY LIMITED). Both of these heavy
hitters have jokes for summoning requirements and
once they are successfully summoned feel free to
Monster Reborn or Call of the Haunted them back. Did
I mention that Primal Seed recurs ANY banished
monsters??
Monday:
Today's card is Primal Seed. If you're like me, you
had no idea what this card was prior to seeing to
the list. There's a good reason for that, as Primal
Seed was, and is, completely useless until Thursday.
It's a normal spell that can only be used if one of
the two Envoys are on the field. Add 2 of your
removed from play cards to your hand. Now that Envoy
of the Beginning is usable for whatever God-awful
reason, Primal Seed can actually be useful. The list
isn't particularly known for being preventative, but
in this case, it looks as if Konami decided to take
steps to prevent this card from being abused.

here)
