Creepy Coney IS a creepy enough looking bunny,
no? This is a Level 3, Earth attributed, Beast type
Monster, with 1000 attack and 1900 defense. Sadly
this isn't a Tuner Monster, which is merely a matter
of fact, not so much something we are necessarily
holding against this card. Inflict 1000 Damage for
each face-up Normal Monster you control, minus
Tokens. Obviously this couldn't be Monsters, that
would be ridiculous. But how many Normal Monsters do
you play? Not very damn many I'm willing to guess,
but in a Normal Deck, I'm still not sure I'd play
it.

We continue our reviews today with Crappy, I mean
Creepy Coney. This card is not all bad however. It
has a number of good things going for it. One, it is
a Level 3 Beast so Super-Nimble Mega Hamster can set
it to the field. Two, it has 1900 defense which can
stave off most monsters in the game.
The next thing you are going to want is a deck to
play this card in. The obvious choice is in a Gemini
deck. Of course, if you are playing them, then burn
is probably not your theme. You could try this card
out in an Ojama deck. But then again, I do not see
anyone playing Ojama decks these days. We could play
a number of high defense normal monsters and use
Tri-Wight and Enchanting Fitting Room to special
summon a field of normal monsters. But a deck around
that would be too cumbersome and inconsistent.
Now let’s try some fun stuff. Set Super-Nimble
first turn and let your opponent attack it to set
the Creep Coney. On your turn, summon Agent of
Creation – Venus and summon 3 Shine Balls. Flip
Coney for 3000 damage, Xyz two Shine Balls for Gachi
Gachi, and Xyz Venus and Coney for a monster that
now has around 2900 attack. Something else we can do
is instead of Venus use Rescue Rabbit to summon two
normal monsters and inflict 2000 damage.
We could do some cool things with Creepy Coney,
but the bottom line is that this card will probably
not see the time of day in a competitive deck.

Wednesday is here and we are looking at yet
another rabbit, Creepy Coney. Coney is a level 3
Earth/Beast with 1000 ATK and 1900 DEF. It's a flip
effect, and it does: Inflict 1000 damage to your
opponent for each face up normal monster you
control, except for tokens. I remember when normal
monsters had their own deck, with very little to no
effect monsters. Now they have a lot of support,
almost enough to make it's own deck without normal
monsters in it. But if I had to place a few effect
monster in my normal deck, I would consider placing
a copy of Coney in it. But I would try to get the
most of out of it with cards like Double Summon,
Swing of Memories, Birthright and a few other ways
to get normal monsters on the field. There's only
one place for Coney, and that's in a normal monster
deck, even then, there are enough support to live
without it.
I think we have a language
barrier here, because it’s something called “Creepy
Coney”.
This is another rare kind of
monster: a Flip-effect monster that also supports
normal monsters. When flipped, you inflict a grand’s
worth of life points for every normal monster you
control. Well, every non-token normal monster you
control. 1000 points is a pretty hefty sum of
damage. The only problem I’ll hear is “How will you
get multiple normals onto the field?”. There are a
few decks and cards that are capable of normal
swarm.
Ojamas have Ojama Red and
Ojamagic. Ojamagic puts Ojamas Green, Yellow, and
Black into your hand. Ojama Red can then summon all
three while leaving you with an empty slot for
Coney. And Ojama Country works very well with
Coney’s 1900 DEF. And it’s a Beast, so Solidarity
will still work as well. You can also use Enchanting
Fitting Room to summon up to 4 normals at the cost
of only 800 life points.
Geminis count as normals prior
to their second summon, so you could potentially use
this as a defense when low on support cards.
While Coney does inflict burn
damage, this card should be used defensively. A 1900
point DEF isn’t going to be run over by most Lv 4’s
and below. Burn is nice, but use this as a
supplement instead of as a win condition. If you use
normal monsters (or geminis), give this a try.
Traditional: 2/5 (normals have
a slightly higher chance of winning)
Advanced: 4/5 (graded like Thunder-End; it benefits
those decks that can use it)
Art: 4/5 (it’s pretty misleading; it’s not actually
a creepy hotdog)

Today we have Creepy Coney

face-up Normal Monster you control, except Tokens.
A great boon to normal decks. as well as Gemini
decks not a bad card in the right deck

"FLIP: Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each

Does this mean that Anya from Buffy the Vampire
Slayer was right? Bunnies are scary, evil creatures?
Well, this guy has the potential to do up to 4000
damage just by flipping face up, but you're likely
to only get 1000 or 2000 damage. He has a nice
defense for such a low level monster and can prove
to be a good defense for a turn or two, but is
likely to be Smashing Grounded because of it.
I would only recommend using him in a Level 4
Normal monster deck, as that's the only one that
comes to mind that could make really good use of
him.
