The Supremacy SUN, a Level 10, Fiend type
Monster, with 3000 attack and defense. No ridiculous
summoning requirements is certainly a plus. Now, if
face up and sent to the Graveyard, by discarding
from your Hand during your next Standby Phase, you
can Special Summon this card. That being the only
effect sadly, doesn't warrant playing this.

The Supremacy Sun is a really nice card from this
month’s Shonen Jump Magazine. I am not sure how much
play you will see out of this big beat stick monster
because for two tributes, you can get out a god card
or Light and Darkness Dragon. The Supremacy Sun
could be the right card in the right deck however.
Especially if that deck likes to discard. Not only
would you get the effect of your discarded card, but
you would also get The Supremacy Sun at 3000 attack,
back on the field.
The first and obvious choice is in a Fabled deck.
Not only can this deck type special summon two
monsters easily, but it loves to have other monsters
in your hand discarded as well. This card may also
work well with Darkworlds. The only apprehension
that I have with using this monster is with top
decking and dead draws. It is beastly, but if you
get stuck with it in your hand, the dead card may
spell doom for you.

It's a new week and we are looking at a few more
Shonen Jump promos this week. Leading off is The
Supremacy Sun. Sun is a level 10, Dark/Fiend with
3000 ATK and DEF. Sun's effect say It cannot be
special summoned by any means except by it's own
effect. During the next standby phase after the turn
this face up card is destroyed and sent to the
grave, you can discard one card to special summon
this card from the graveyard. Nothing beats a 3000
ATK and DEF monster that can keep coming back time
and time again. There are a few ways to get this
card on the field, Double Coston, Fires of Doomsday
are a few. You guys are smart enough to figure it
out. While the ability to bring back Sun over and
over is great, you need to watch out for things like
Bottomless, Deep Dark Trap Hole, Macro Cosmos and
even D.D. Crow. You wanna annoy the hell out of your
opponent? Keep bring back Sun over and over again,
assuming you have the cards to do so.

Today's my birthday, and we kick off the week
with an interesting card...
SS is an interesting monster, and for those who
don't know, Level 10 and higher monster cards that
lack Normal Summoning restrictions require 3
monsters on the feilf be tributed to Normal Summon
them, including this guy. 3 Tributes for a monster
may seem excessive, but getting out multiple
monsters isn't as hard as it used to be, and his
effect helps make sure he comes back again and
again, assuming you have a card in hand from your
last turn to discard. To be honest, there's better
cards out there that can come back easier, such as
Grapha which has a better cost and more openness on
the timing.
He's an alright card, but there's better, easier
alternatives in Advanced. In Traditional, you have
access to Sinister Serpent, which makes bring him
out again and again easier. Also, remember that his
effect only works if he's in the graveyard. If he's
removed from play, he's basically gone for good.
