If you control a face-up "Legendary Six Samurai - Mizuho", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Tributed, select 1 "Six Samurai" monster in your Graveyard, and add it to your hand, except "Legendary Six Samurai - Shinai".

Today’s card is Six Samurai Shinai. Shinai has
the ability to special summon himself from your hand
if you control a face up Six Samurai Mizuho. On top
of that, if this card is used as a tribute -- any
kind of tribute, including tribute summoning and
other card abilities -- you may select one Six
Samurai monster in your graveyard and add it to your
hand. This effect is mandatory, which is great since
you won’t miss the timing if you use this card as a
tribute for something. The Shinai and Mizuho loops
are very fun and very fast plays for the Samurai
deck. These cards didn’t see too much play at the
YCS in Dallas, aside from Billy Brake who used these
two to loop infinite counters onto his Gateways of
the six, but maybe with the limiting of Gateway,
this card and his red counterpart might see some
more competitive play. Or maybe they wont see
any play at all, seeing as how two of the counter
stacking cards are gone from the samurai deck, and
also, with only one Gateway, you won’t be searching
your deck quite as often for them. Although in just
casual play, these two cards are great for fun
little loops and samurai surprises.

Zorpa
Legendary Six Samurai Shinai
This is another of the Legendary Six Samurai
and is paired up with Legendary Six Samurai Mizuho.
He is a level 3 WATER Warrior with 1500 ATK and 1500
DEF. This is actually very good as it is searchable
both by Shien's Smoke Signal and Reinforcements.
WATER is not the best Attribute to have, but I guess
they overdid the EARTH Samurai a little bit.
His effect is a bit situational, but when he is
Tributed, you can add a Six Samurai monster in your
graveyard to your hand. You can also Special Summon
Shinai when you control a face-up Mizuho, meaning
that you can seriously swarm with Mizuho, Kageki and
Grandmaster, so you can explode into a completely
unexpected win.
Paired with Mizuho, this card can be exceptional
good, but I honestly think that Mizuho is completely
better in almost every single way. The only thing is
that you need Shinai for Mizuho to be at her best.
He is not mandatory for a Samurai deck, but can be
added for a bit of flavor for a player who wants to
be a bit different.
