Top 10 New Cards of 2010
#4 - Scrap Dragon
#DREV-EN043 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, you can select 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls. Destroy them. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard, select 1 non-Synchro "Scrap" monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it.

Tuesday
Scrap Dragon comes in at #4...I actually like Scrap
Twin Dragon more than this, but apparently the extra
Level (9 as opposed to 8) makes Scrap Dragon far
more favorable. The Scrap Monsters are like
Gladiator Beasts in a way, in how seemingly
effortlessly they can recycle and replenish
themselves to the Field.
Scrap Dragon is a Level 8, Earth attributed, Dragon
type Synchro monster, with 2800 attack and 2000
defense, and is Synchro Summoned simply with a Tuner
and one or more non-Tuner type monsters, so no
restrictions. Once per turn you can destroy
one card each player controls. Just dump
something you don't need, and it can almost give use
to some weightless card in your Hand or on your
Field.
In addition, when this card is destroyed by your
opponent's card, either by Battle or by a card
effect, and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special
Summon one non-Synchro Scrap monster in your
Graveyard.
Fantastic. So you can dump something purposely
that you will want to revive later for insurance.

Caution: No s/crap puns
in this review!
What DOESN'T Scrap Dragon do? Who DOESN'T want Scrap
Dragon? It blows up Geartown and takes out an
opponent. It sets off Scrap monsters and combos. It
turns fodder into destruction. It turns Debris
Dragon and a Fluffy into THIS THING. Then it
converts a surplus of Fluffies into a shortage of
opposition.
Scrap Dragon has become a staple Synchro of this
game, being generic yet Debris-able, powerful yet
versatile. This card goes for $25 for a reason, and
the only reason I don't have it is because I'm
spendomoneyphobic. And it's quite expensive. Because
it does everything. And it's a staple. And it's a
generic level 8. And it's #4 on our list.
5/5
Art: Hang on! The saws are on the way!
Fun Fact: The third one is Atomic Scrap Dragon, and
it's ironically the worst.
Tomorrow: Hey, you three were giving us a hard time
last year!
