Solemn Warning is #3, a card that is very similar to
Solemn Judgement, but I personally don't care for as
much. Why? Solemn Judgement could have a larger cost
(half your Lifepoints versus 2000) while this card
is always 2000.
I will (again) compare the two (Judgement vs.
Warning) as I think it is necessary. One
immediately negative is the fact that you wouldn't
necessarily be able to play this card whenever you
wanted or needed to, as you can with Judgement.
Secondly, while Solemn Judgement negates everything,
Warning only negates Monster summons.
Well, Monster summons and any other card or effect
of a Monster that Special Summon a Monster(s), and
destroys the card in question. The card isn't bad,
not at all, but I would stick with your Solemn
Judgement and Dark Bribe...I even like My Body as a
Shield Better than this...sorta.
Ratings:
3/5 both Formats...for reasons listed above.
It's not bad, and I don't think I'm trying to say
that :D
Art: 5/5 like Judgement, but I actually like this a
bit better I think
:)

The next Solemn card, Solemn Warning, is one of the
most obnoxious things in all the gumdrop forest.
It's also another rarity bump. God and his hoes are
back for another round of "GOD SAYS NO!", at 3 per
deck again. The normal summon is the most important
move of the game--kicking off Blackwings, X-Sabers,
Six Samurai, Quickdraw, you-name-it. If you have a
card that instantly wrecks a normal summon and
destroys the monster, and can even stop any special
summon of any monster, you're running it.
And that's why this card has passed $40. The cost is
more than worth the effect. Who needs Life Points
when you're already in control of the game? Just
setting this card turns the opponent into your
puppet.
5/5
Art: He doesn't shave, but the girls don't mind.
Fun Fact: I HATE SOLEMN.
Tomorrow: You wouldn't have expected it.

Today’s card is the one, the only, Moses 2, God
Says No Again, Solemn Warning. Like Solemn Judgment,
this is a counter trap that costs life points, stops
stuff, and features Moses (or God) telling something
‘NO’. Unlike Solemn Judgment, this card can be run
in triplicate. It’s cost is high, but paying 4000 LP
for a Solemn Judgment is higher, and this is done
quite often. In a world where there is but one
Oppression, we have need to stop our opponents from
their Special Summons, and Moses and his two lady
friends will do the job well. This is one of the new
staples, and a very useful card.

Today we begin the final stretch of our top 10
countdown, number three. Coming in at number three
is Solemn Warning. Gee, there's a surprise. This
card has become almost a staple in the decks of
those who can afford it. Or can pull it. So far,
Archangel of Team Legion has pulled two, I do
believe. How some people manage such luck, I'll
never know. But I digress.
This card is great, amazing, epic, and a multitude
of other random adjectives in just about any deck
under the sun. I'm not exactly sure how this is a
warning from God (see original translation) because
it doesn't do a whole lot of warning, it simply
says, “No.” Not much more to say about it except
this, while this is an epic card that can negate a
host of things in the meta nowadays, is does have a
con. That con being this, to activate this card you
must pay 2000 life points. No more, no less. 2000
shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number
of the counting shall be 2000. No, it's not as
catchy, but too bad.
Anyway, while this card is great if you have 2000+
life points, if your life points are at so much as
1900, than this card just became more useless than
Watapon. This is one of the best things about a card
like Solemn Judgement, it's completely impossible to
lose with it. You CAN halve any number from 8000 to
1. Whereas a cost of 2000 life point just sits there
like all the snow in Alabama that won't seem to take
a hint and go back up north where it belongs.
Still, all in all, a great card
Traditional: 5/5
Advanced: 5/5
Art: “These aren't the droids you're looking for.
You will let my people go.” (Hey, I thought he
looked like a cross between Ben Kenobi and Moses, so
this is whatcha get.)
Footnote: Wouldn't Moses's job have been easier if
HE had Jedi mind tricks? ^_^

So who guessed that this card would be showing up
on the top ten list. Today’s card is the famous
Solemn Warning. For just 2000 life points, you
can stop your opponent’s combos before they even get
started. It really goes without saying that this is
a broken card. However, just like its cousin Solemn
Judgment, if you don’t know what you’re doing with
this card, it could cost you the game. Another
little down side to this card is that it can really
be expensive to budget players, however, there are
some cards that are almost as good. Take the
Evacuation Device for instance. It may not be as
good as Solemn Warning, but on the bright side, if
your opponent already has their boss monster out,
than CED isn’t going to be a dead draw. Solemn
warning is an amazing card, so much so that I
believe it is forcing many people to run Decree
decks. Since a lot of players are scared of them,
but don’t have the money to afford them, they would
just rather shut your traps off all together. Still,
Solemn Warning is a great card. Hey, life points are
great, but you still only need one to win.
