Today’s card is Droll and Lock Bird, which at first glance, seems useless. It has no ATK or DEF, so it must be some sort of effect only card. It allows you to drop it from hand to grave if your opponent draws or adds cards to their hand outside of the draw phase. Then, for the rest of the turn, no one can draw or add cards from their deck to hand. So… it’s a side against Dragon Drop Exodia? That’s the only use I’m seeing for this.

We finally break the Normal Trap train with a terrible monster. Droll and Lock Bird is a level 1 WIND Spellcaster? Ok, I was going to say winged beast, but whatever works konami. So what does this wrong typed piece of cardboard do? Whenever your opponent adds a card from their deck to their hand outside of their draw phase you may discard this card so that for the rest of the turn neither player can add cards from their deck to their hand.

Well thats....limited. Outside of Allure of Darkness and Pot of Duality, this thing is going to be dead 95% of the time.
