Xing Zhen Hu, one of the stranger Traps out
there. It's going to be short and sweet today
folks. This is the age old philosophy that it's
almost always certainly better to destroy, than to
lock, in this instance. This card, is a Continuous
Trap that lets you select two Magic and Trap cards
on the Field (face-down obviously) and not allow the
user or users to activate them. Yea, it can
actually be a bit of a combo card, but that's even a
bit of a stretch. It's junk almost 99% of the time.

Xing Zhen Hu
Alright I won't lie and say I spelled this right
when I went looking for more information on the
card. Zing Zhen Hu; not Xing Zen Who, is an older
continuous trap card from Rise of Destiny that has
been reprinted/release/what have you in Gold Series
4; and other sets also but whatever. Anyhow, Xing
Zhen Hu is a real overlooked "what just happened"
sort of card. It has no real good deck for it to
work with; although combos with Anti Spell Fragrance
as fairly effective, and can be chained to make it a
bit useless. It would be best to activate this
little item on your opponents End Phase after they
set two. Now read that last statement again and ask
yourself if this card is "situational". The
answer
would be yes, so stick with the usual suspects for
your trap lineup unless you feel like being silly.
The best description for Xing Zhen Hu is a
watered down Royal Decree. In order to activate you
must select 2 set spell or trap cards. They do not
have to be your opponents but I doubt you would want
to hit your own. Those cards cannot be activated.
This card is not quite that useful as you can chain
your own Royal Decree or an MST or Dust Tornado to
destroy it. If not there are a host of cards to draw
to get rid of it. What is funny is I actually ran
into this card at my locals, it was a pleasant
surprise.

Here we have our second card of the week from
gold series four. A common called xing zhen hu,
which for some reason I imagine a Scottish guy
saying. Its a continuous trap that allows you to
make sure your opponent doesn't activate 2 of their
facedowns. They can still chain them. This thing
sucks more than my vacuum cleaner, folks. Konami
should really ask the players next time.
