This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned while "Toon World" is on your side of the field. You can Special Summon this monster from your hand, but Tributes are required for monsters Level 5 or more. When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If a face-up Toon Monster is on your opponent's side of the field, you must select the Toon Monster as an attack target. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each "Dark Magician" or "Magician of Black Chaos" in either player's Graveyard.

Toon Dark Magician Girl, who has the same attributes
and statistics as her non Toon counterpart, and she
can't be Normal Summoned or Set. Furthermore, she
can only be Special Summoned if Toon World is on
your side of the Field. There aren't a great deal
of Toon Monsters out there, but she isn't even very
good for them. Some of them have fun effects, and
Toon DMG doesn't. If your opponent doesn't control
a Toon Monster, which they likely won't, you can
attack directly here, and you have to attack your
opponent's Toon(s) if they control one. The whole
Toon mechanic was always for fun I thought anyway.
You have got to love wall of text cards. Toon
DMG, obviously a fan service as there is not a
competitive demand for this card, a level 6 card
that can be special summoned but still requires a
tribute. It needs a Toon World on the field in order
to survive the turn and can attack your opponent
directly if they do not control a toon monster,
which they most likely will not. It still gets the
attack boosting effect of the original DMG and is a
dark, about the only thing going for this card.
Again, as stated previously, obviously a fan service
card.
Toons are a very interesting arch-type being
reprinted in Gold Series 4. I’m not sure why, but
maybe that’s a hint at a future structure deck? Who
knows? Anyway, this card even for Toons isn’t very
good. Tributing a monster should really only be done
to activate some ridiculous effect (Caius comes to
mind…) and Toon Dark Magician Girl doesn’t have one.
It can attack directly sure, but not even until the
turn after it’s summoned. If she had more attack
(because who would be playing Dark Magician of
Magician of Black Chaos) she might be decent in
Toons, but I wouldn’t even run it in its own deck.
Sorry Dark Magician Girl fans, she is terrible.

Toon Dark Magician Girl
Another Gold Series reprint, this one previously
existed as an Ultra Rare way back when. Toons don't
see any kind of competitive play now, so there's no
reason to worry about this card. Aside from being
absolutely adorable, it's only mediocre in Toon
Decks and being a 2000 ATK Tribute isn't all that
good. It has the usual Toon effects like attacking
directly and directing attacks, but still isn't
anything to get excited over.
