Another Xyz Monster, Gachi Gachi Gantestu, a Rank
2 Xyz Monster, who is Earth attribute, of the Rock
type, with 500 attack and 1800 defense. Xyz
Summoned with two, Level 2 Monsters. That's simple
enough, but going back to my point of yesterday,
(one of many), you're likely giving up two Tuner
monsters, who can be used for a Synchro, who is
almost guaranteed to be better than this thing.
Now, if this face-up card would be destroyed, you
can detach an Xyz Material Monster instead. All
face-up Monsters you control gain 200 attack and
defense for each Xyz Material Monster equipped to
this card. For that second effect, it would be nice
if there were cards, like for Magic Counters, that
let you transfer Xyz Materials to other cards. I'm
not even sure if there is any direct thing like that
in Generation Force...anyway, yesterday's card had
some playability. This card, not so much.

Gachi Gachi Gantetsu
Most Xyz monsters are not very powerful. Some Xyz
monsters are really, really bad. Level 2 monsters
aren't the most common things you see. They're
usually only seen in abundance in Synchro decks.
It's not quite worth this guy. He comes out with 900
ATK and 2200 DEF, and although he can protect
himself twice, he becomes more vulnerable each time,
and 2200 DEF is just under the magic 2400, which is
under the magic 2500, which is under the magic 2800.
Granting each of your other monsters 400 (and then
200) extra ATK and DEF doesn't do too much, either,
but it's not something that can be dismissed
instantly.
If you can manage to summon Gachi Gachi Gantetsu and
another strong monster, you're in a good position.
He's most easily summoned through Quillbolt Hedgehog
and Nimble Momonga/Giant Germ, and is a great boost
for Ojama decks (what?). Aside from that, you won't
see this Rank 2 Xyz in many Extra Decks.

Art: Sometimes I just wonder, "What is that? Where
did it come from?"
Fun Fact: I like the fanslation "Exceed" much better
than the official "Xyz".
Tomorrow: It's a pattern.
There is not much to say about today’s Rank 2
Xyz. Gachi Gachi Gantetsu is a veritable meat shield
that boosts your monsters stats by 200 for each
material attached. Potentially raising the attack
and defense of all your monsters by 400 is good, but
there are a plethora of continuous spells that boost
stats at much less expense than this card. Until
more Xyz support comes out the only level two
monsters that see consistent play will be ones used
for synchro summons or utility in decks to a final
goal.

Gachi Gachi Gantetsu
Another of the new Xyz Monsters from the Starter
Deck. Gachi Gachi Gantetsu is a Rank 2, so you need
two Level 2 monsters to make him. This one's effect
is pretty simple. By detaching an Xyz Material, he
won't be destroyed, and all your monsters gain 200
to both stats for each Xyz Material on him. A
potential 400 boost is pretty good, and double
protection isn't bad. The first deck that comes to
mind to use this guy is the Agent Angel deck. The
Mystical Shine Balls are Level 2, so you can easily
make this, and he can boost Venus to a solid 2000
attacker, Hyperion to 3100 and Kristya to a
ridiculous 3200. What I like about Exceeds so much
is that they are as generic as they are, so they can
fit into any deck, and this guy is definitely one to
consider.

this guy and a Level 5 Synchro, whichever is better
at the time)
