Five-Headed Dragon--This is an incredibly powerful
Fusion monster with 5000 attack points (and defense
points). So, I am here to say, if you have this
card, do NOT go splashing it into your Fusion deck.
At least read the card first, ok? Now, let's look
at all that this card has going for it. First, Five
Headed Dragon can only be destroyed by a monster of
the Light attribute. Or, of course, by a magic or
trap card or monster effect, but the fact that it
can only be destroyed by one attribute is
awesome...or is it? Since it can ONLY be destroyed
by a monster of the Light attribute and he boasts
5000 attack points, odds are you won't be attacking
him with anything. You more than likely will be
using a magic, trap, or monster effect.
Furthermore, you need to fuse FIVE Dragons to make
Five Headed Dragon (ironic, hmm?) Granted, it can be
any five Dragons, which gives him a lot of
versatility, but wow. It's also quite good that are
friend doesn't take battle damage, but again...he
does have 5000 attack points! Dragon's Mirror being
an easier way to go about this is helpful, but this
is one of those cards really to admire for nostalgia
and artwork. If you run a hardcore Dragon deck, and
are bold enough to try this, go for it.
Five-Headed Dragon serves more purpose as a
foolish burial than a boss monster. It requires
five, obviously, dragon type monsters to fusion
summon which most duelists outside of
disaster/hopeless dragon and dragunity will never
have. Typically, duelists will use Future Fusion for
this card in order to set up graveyard plays with
their dragons and if it happens that FHD is summoned
then it’s a nice plus one. Being impervious to
battle with anything but a light monster is good,
but its 5000 attack should protect it more from
battle. If only it was immune towards effect
destruction instead it would make FHD a much more
playable card.

Today’s card is our big boss Dragon monster.
Five-Headed Dragon rarely hits the field, but when
he does he causes some problems. His ridiculous
attack and defense make him a very annoying card to
get over, but since he is completely vulnerable to
spells and traps, it’s not impossibly. Even if you
get a strong enough monster, this Dragon still
cannot be destroyed by most monsters. This effect is
cool, but with 5000 attack, it really doesn’t
matter. This monster’s sole purpose these days is
making Dragon’s playable. With Future Fusion, you
can load your graveyard with a bunch of Dragons
(Usually Red-Eyes Wyvern and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal
Dragons). Then you can start your combos and beating
your opponent down. If the Future Fusion lasts long
enough for Five-Headed to be special summoned,
you’re probably already winning.

Here we go, day 2 of our gold series 4 reviews,
on hump day, with 5 humps to boot on this
monstrosity: 5 headed dragon. The beast with 5
backs, a superb future fusion target, and a 5000
attack body and the ability to not be killed by
battle except by light monsters (honest says hello,
and he's comin for you buddy boy). All in all
though, a great card in dragon decks and a welcome
addition to gold series 4.
