Continuing Synchro week, we come to one of the more
interesting Synchros, in T.G. Recipro Dragonfly. We
have a Level 2, Wind attributed, Insect Synchro,
with 300 attack and defense, who is Synchro Summoned
with a Tuner and another non-Tuner monster. That
right there is actually good, allowing this card to
work anywhere, as it doesn't require any specific
materials, namely of a T.G. nature, despite its
name. As useless as this Insect may seem, I think
it does have some potential...potentially. While
ridding yourself of a Synchro isn't a good idea
usually, being able to bring the monsters back from
the Graveyard, perhaps for a different Synchro, and
then even hopefully to say use this, maybe for
yesterday's card, isn't a bad idea. The tricky part
too is in the fact that you can't summon one or only
some of the monsters used in said Synchro you send
to the Graveyard, it has to be all, and they all
must be in the Graveyard. So once a turn you can
select a T.G. Synchro you have on the Field, present
company excluded, and activate this effect. That's
the part too where you would really only run this in
its own Deck. It does have some combos, but it's
not the most useful I believe.

T.G. Recipro Dragonfly

Recipro Dragonfly is an interesting two star synchro
from the latest set. I find it interesting because
although its a T.G. monster it really doesn't fit
into the archetype well unless the player uses non
T.G. cards as currently there are no non level 1
tuners for said archetype. Its effect is pretty
silly, but silly tends to work. It certainly gives
you the option to separate and synchro again,
allowing for some abuse of other T.G. monsters like
Hyper Librarian. I also see combos to make Halbred
Cannon but yall are smart enough to figure those
out. I've seen some of your threads and you seem to
be in support of this little robot fly bugger thing.
Overall Dragonfly is fairly staple in T.G. decks as
you'll probably use tech cards to bring him out and
make your deck that much better. Its effect is
tricky with many combos but if you test it out
you'll be drawing cards and dropping T.G. synchros
like theres no tomorrow.
