Out of the Blue is a very strange Continuous Magic
card, one that could actually (maybe) be the focal
point of some very unconventional Decks. This card
is destroyed if your opponent activates a card or
effect that targets a card or cards in the
Graveyard, either Graveyard. When destroyed and
sent to the Graveyard by this effect, your opponent
shuffles all cards in their Graveyard back into
their Deck. It can certainly stop or at least
really put a hurting on all that Synchro from the
Graveyard moves a lot of Decks have made so popular.
There aren't really any mainstream ways to use this
card, but it certainly is one of the more
interesting cards out there.

Out of the Blue is just that. Another card from
extreme victory; cont.
magic, with a random effect. This card is destroyed
when an opponents effect targets a card/s in the
graveyard. When its destroyed by said effect and
hits the grave your opponent shuffles all cards in
his/her grave to his/her deck. Wow...thats pretty
decent actually...but is quite situational. Out of
the Blue is one of those cards you consider placing
in your side deck but eventually throw aside because
there are so many better cards you can run.
Furthermore, all cards are returned to the deck
which gives your opponent back key magic/trap cards
or the engine of his/her deck; plants, recruiters,
etc. I love the art but not the card. Its hilarious
to view, and simply silly to play. Another
forgettable card that won't see major play.

My name is Justin Dominguez and I want to thank
you all for welcoming me to the Card of the Day
Review team. I want to give you a little bit of
background about myself. I am an avid player.
I have been playing for about 2 years now. I am from
Dallas, Texas and travel all over Texas for regional
tournaments. I’ll try to start wearing something
that sticks out in case you guys want to say hello.
I am new but I have caught on quick and will be
writing from the perspective of players who are
either new or transitioning from casual to
competitive play. Now the card review:
Today we have Out of the Blue a continuous spell
card that has a rather amusing effect. When we cut
through all the text we learn that it’s a graveyard
bomb. Whenever anything happens TO a card IN the
‘yard, you destroy the card and send all the cards
from the ‘yard back into the deck and shuffle the
deck. This is one of those cards that had a great
idea behind it, but a rather lackluster design. It’s
a great way to disrupt graveyard based decks, i.e.
anything with plants, zombies, or the recent YCS
topping infernities. Where this card falls short is
what I assume Konami did to keep it from being
broken. Had this card been a quickplay and instead
removed from play it would have been devastating. I
would not want my opponent to be allowed to shuffle
back into their deck limited or staple monsters,
spells or traps that had been either used already or
milled.
This card has potential in it's ability to interrupt
cards like Debris Dragon or Double-Edged Sword
Technique by returning the graveyard targets back to
the deck. The effect of Out of the Blue isn't bad,
but because it's continuous your opponent can play
around it very easily. Also, because the cards are
only returned to the deck, your opponent can always
re-use them. With something like D.D. Crow, the
targeted card will get removed instead of just being
sent back to the deck. For example, if your opponent
summons Debris Dragon and targets Dandylion in the
graveyard, you can chain D.D. Crow to remove the
card and the play is done. If you used Out of the
Blue, your opponent might simply use Mystical Space
Typhoon to destroy Out of the Blue and then continue
with their Debris Dragon play. I feel like this card
has some potential, but there are other cards out
there that are just better (D.D. Crow, The
Transmigration Prophecy, etc.)

Out of the Blue:
This is an interesting new card from EXVC. But does
interesting mean playable? Out of the Blue basically
acts as a reverse super D.D. Crow, returning all
cards in your opponent's Graveyard to their deck,
but only when they target a card in a Graveyard,
whether it's yours or their own. The most common
cards this would be even remotely proactive against
would be Pot of Avarice and Monster Reborn, but not
much else I can think of. It would be difficult to
actually make good use of this card to mess up your
opponent's plans. The fact that it's a continuous
means they'll either play around it or remove it
with another card. Or they could purposely play
something just to get their entire graveyard back,
which may not always be good, since they would be
basically starting over while you have used up cards
you can't use anymore. If it was a Quick-Play, it
might be a bit more playable as a surprise card, but
as it is, I don't see this being played all that
much, even though this is a fairly
Graveyard-dependent format. Giving your opponent all
their resources back is not good yugiohz.

Hi Pojo People! Starting today, IŽll be here, to
bring a review for you.
Out of the Blue, is a
interesting Continuous Spell Card that locks your
opponent from targeting card on graveyard, or if he
targets, will lose the graveyard either way. This
card also puts your opponent under a lot of
pressure, causing him to spend resources to get rid
of this card as soon as possible, or in the worst
case, losing the entire graveyard and not to mention
that it also slowdown a lot the deck.
Combo with Transmigration
Break, to have a Fiend Comedian without the
downside of losing the cards from the top
deck. Speaking of downside , this card has to
be destroyed by its own effect, or the second effect
wonŽt be activated, so Mystical Space Typhoon, Dust
Tornado etc.. will ruin your strategy.
Out of the Blue may fits on
some side decks against graveyards heavily oriented
decks , like Fish/Frogs decks, Decks using the Plant
engine Dandy/Spore/Glow-UP , Vayu Turbo, Zombies,
Disaster Dragons..and more.
I really liked this card, and
IŽll try 2 on my side deck.
