Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a monster you control as an Equip Card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. The equipped monster loses 500 ATK and DEF. If the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, destroy all monsters your opponent controls with the same Type as the destroyed monster. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

Today's card is Buster Blaster. Buster Blaster has a
couple of good things going for him, the number one
being that he's a 1 star monster for one for one.
Buster Blaster does have a nice ability to destroy
swarms but it's really only effective against low
attack power swarming, like plant synchro, and most
likely they will get rid of all there low attacking
creatures t synch into stronger monster. While you
can use one for one on this card to bring him to the
field quickly, this card does decrease the attack of
the equipped monster by 5oo and in some cases this
is just low enough to get run over on the next turn,
but hey, at least you get the union ability off on
him.

Monday: Buster Blaster
Kicking off the week we have Buster Blaster, a new
union monster from EXVC. It has 0 atk and def so it
won't be doing much in the way of attacking or
defending really. It is Earth attributed and a
machine, two highly supported archetypes. It's
ability decreases the monster's attack and defense
by 500 when it equips to them. However if it kills
an opponent's monster in battle, it also blows up
all other monsters they control of the same type.
This could come in handy if you are facing something
like Blackwings or Six Samurai where you know
everything is the same type. I'm sure the look on
your opponent's face if you pulled this off would be
worth it even if you end up losing. Other than that,
there really isn't much to this card. I guess if you
wanted to it could be something to tech into a
Machina sidedeck or maybe ever Karakuri since they
can change the battle position of opponent's
monsters rather easily. I doubt anyone will be doing
that though and I don't see it seeing much play at
all especially in a main deck.

Buster Blaster......strange level one earth type
robot thing with 0 atk/def. Its a union also so it
has the equip/unequip effect with the whole "destroy
this card instead" bit. Its a one for one target
which is also nice. The equipped monster loses 500
atk/def. That's...well that's not all that
impressive now is it. But...but! If said equipped
monster destroys an opponents monster by battle you
can destroy all your opponents monsters of the same
type. Now thats pretty darn impressive...why can't
you do that without lowering atk/def? Well
then it would be pretty decent. As it stands its
really not that great of a card. What would I even
want to run this in and why would I be running it to
begin with? I mean, sure that effect could
possibly be useful against sams or zombies or
something with just one type but overall why? It has
slim potential in my opinion.

Monday
He's back! After doing some lengthy and
enjoyable traveling, and taking the time to move,
I've been without internet access for sometime, but
here I am! Buster Blaster opens the week, a
new Union monster, who is Level 1, and an Earth
attributed Machine, with 0 attack and defense.
Now right off the bat, you probably wonder why you
would use this guy. He lowers the attack and
defense of the equipped Monster by 500 points.
But when the equipped Monster destroys an opponent's
Monster, all monsters of that same type are
destroyed.
It's certainly an interesting effect. Likely
there will be other monsters on the Field, and
equally likely, they should be the same type, which
could really assist in taking something stronger
down that you might not be able to do currently.
The attack loss is something to look at though, as
you probably would chose to equip a higher level or
more powerful Monster, but then it raises the
question, why wouldn't you just destroye the Monster
out right? Unfortunately, I just don't see
this as a very useful card overall, as reflected in
the ratings...
