"Naturia Beast" + "Naturia Barkion"
A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters. While this card is face-up on the field, you can negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, and destroy it, by removing from play 1 card from your Graveyard, then sending the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Moving from Synchro to Fusion, we look at Naturia
Exterio, who is specifically Fusion Summoned with
Naturia Beast and Natruia Barkion...Right off the
bat, it almost always hurts a Fusion Monster when
you can ONLY Fusion Summon using specific Monsters.
So this is a Fusion of TWO Synchro Monsters.
Naturia Exterio is Level 10, and has 2800 attack and
2400 defense. 2800 attack isn't bad, but we
should be in the 3300-3500 attack range for a Level
10, maybe higher. But it's a Fusion, so the
Level isn't too relevant I suppose. While
face-up on the Field, you can negate the activation
of a Magic or Trap card, by removing a card from
play from your Graveyard, and then sending the top
card of your Deck to the Graveyard. I like the
first half, and the mill isn't that big of a concern
either. As hard as I was on the 2800 attack
earlier, it's strong enough to go through most
encountered power houses.

Naturia Exterio
The Naturia fusion monster of the archetype,
Naturia Exterio is the fusion of Naturia Beast and
Naturia Barkion. I personally like this card a lot,
both for effect and artwork. Unfortunately, it can
be fairly difficult to summon unless your deck is
designed to summon him quickly. What I don't like is
the innate requirement of Beast and Barkion, both of
which are amazing cards in their own right. To be
honest, I would rather have the two of them on the
field instead of Exterio.

It's time for our 4th card during Naturia week
here on pojo's COTD. Today's card is something you
gotta put a lot work into, but is it worth it?
Naturia Exterio is a LVL 10 Earth/Beast type fusion
monster, with 2800 ATK and 2400 DEF, so
over-powering him will be hard. His effect is pretty
simple and very handy, You can negate the activation
and destroy a spell/trap card by banishing 1 card in
your graveyard THEN send the top card of your deck
to the grave. So what makes him a bit hard to play?
He needs both Naturia Beast and Barkion as fusion
material to fuse this monster. That's at least over
5 cards, 7 if you count the 2 synchros. Future
Fusion or E-HERO Prisma can't be used here, so your
best bet would be The Earth Hex-Sealed Fusion, it's
easy BUT it doesn't not count as a proper fusion
summon. In the end, is it worth going through all
this, going through all the cards and synchroing
like crazy to fuse two really good monsters into one
good monster?
Not really, even with Miracle-Synchro Fusion, you're
better off with Barkion and Beast on the field. Too
bad, Exterio has the solid stats and effects to make
him a real force, but his requirements stop him just
short.
Traditional- 1
Advanced- 2.5 I really wanted to like him more

Tomorrow- I was just talking about you.
This adorable Dragon-Cat-thing is a Fusion between
the Naturia's best and most used Synchro Monsters -
Beast and Barkion, and with Miracle Synchro Fusion,
this card can be quite easy to summon. Now, by
simply banishing a card in your Graveyard and
milling the top card of your deck, you can negate
the activation and effects of any Spells or Traps.
With adequate protection, this card is a winner and
with 2800 ATK it can take down a lot of monsters.
However, this card can and will be destroyed by a
lot of commonly played monster-based removal, Caius,
Ryko, Hyperion, DaD, JD, Celestia etc. The list goes
on. In addition, Naturia Bambooshoot easily out
shines this card due to it being considerably easier
to summon and lacking a cost for its effect.
Traditional: 1/5 - More monster removal than you can
shake a stick at.
Advanced: 2/5 - Bambooshoot is more practical in
Naturias.
Art: 3/5 - Kitty-Cat Dragon is awesome.

Super! Chibi! Fusion! GO!
Our next card is the highest level in the Naturia
Forest, Naturia Exterio! This card is a straight-up
fusion monster composed of Naturia Barkion and
Naturia Beast. This card can negate almost any spell
and most traps by banishing a card from the
graveyard and self-milling a card. This is half the
cost of its components and fuels itself. You’re
probably asking, “Why should you bother using
Exterio when Bamboo Shoot stops spells and traps
from being played at all”? Well, unlike Bamboo
Shoot, Exterio doesn’t automatically die when a
Cyber Dragon is top decked, can fuel the effect of
Naturia Forest, and isn’t limited to Naturia decks.
This can be very hard to bring out in Advanced
Format though. There are very few strategies to
summon Exterio other than polymerization. One
possible method is to summon Gale Dogra and use its
effect to send Beast and Barkion to the graveyard
following up with Miracle Synchro Fusion. Another
method I learned about involves using Summoner of
Illusions to summon Exterio and using a card such as
Interdimensional Matter Transporter or Paradox
Fusion to banish Exterio and then return it to the
field (keyword is return; you won’t be able to
resummon it). If you take this route, Genex Ally
Triforce can be your friend since it can set
Summoner of Illusions and pull up some fodder for
the effect.
On the other hand, Naturia Exterio is ridiculously
easy to summon in Traditional Format. Cyberstein:
5000 life points and you seal 2/3 of their deck.
Temple of the Kings + Metal Reflect Slime +
Metamorphsis = Free Locking Beatstick. Put out an
Exterio on your first turn and you are in a very
comforting position.
Overall, Naturia Exterio is a strong card, but
requires too many resources (and when it doesn’t,
it’s either has a heavy cost or a strict window of
opportunity). Unless you’re in Traditional, then go
crazy.

Naturia Exterio
Alright, so we have for you today the fusion of
naturias. The first thing you are going to
realize is that this guy requires both barkion and
beast to be fused together. That right there
is a huge pain, getting out two synchros to poly for
this guy? My first thought was future fusion, but
after looking that up it’s a no go. not aware
of any other easy way to pull this guy out.
The effect of negating a spell or a trap for only
remoing a card in your graveyard is awesome.
Milling from the top of your deck is not terrible
either, especially as it just feeds this guy again
and again. 2800 ATK can hold its own against
almost any other threat, barring bls or other boss
dudes.
I would love to give this guy a good rating, but two
synchros as fusion materials just kills any chance
this guy might have had

*this guy reminds me of digimon for some reason >.>
This is a very interesting creature. A tiger in
dragon’s clothing, I would like to say. It
literally is a fusion of Naturia Beast and Naturia
Barkion, down to the effect even- Mill and Banish at
the same time to negate any s/t that isn’t spell
speed 3 (counter traps). This guy can be devastating
late game, after the Solemn Trio is gone. The first
thing that screams at me is that he is automatic -6
if you shoot out for him right away. You have
the 2 synchros and the 4 monsters to make said
synchros. There is just one problem with this fusion
that really hinders it…. veiler/ryko/caius/etc.
stops it dead in its tracks…..
Pros: 2800 Beatstick with a very good effect.
Cons: All the things you need to actually bring this
guy about and monster effects kill this thing.
*key note: just like Landoise, it must be face up at
the end of resolution for the effect(s) to negate.*
Traditional: 1/5
Advanced: 2/5 (3/5 if you can actually bring
this guy out)

Are they serious? A Fusion made from 2 Synchros
that doesn't allow substitutes? That pretty much
garantees that this card will never reach the field
through traditional means. While the effect is
interesting, useful and uses an interesting
mechanic, there's better ways to pull off a negation
that involve far less effort. The stats are nice,
but the chances of him ever seeing play are
microscopic.

Naturia Extrerio is a pretty powerful Fusion
monster that packs a wallop with 2800 attack points.
The draw back to this card is that it will not fit
into many decks. First, you need to summon both
Naturia Beast and Barkion. That alone is going to be
a tough task for any deck. Second, you are going to
need a deck that plays mostly Earth monsters as
Naturia Beast and Barkion both require all Earth
monsters. Finally, you will need a deck that can
summon Fusion monsters.
There is only one deck that I know of that can meet
all of the requirements above and that is Psychics.
When we had Mind Master, we could summon both of
these monsters in one turn. Even without Mind
Master, Psychics can still summon synchro monsters
at a fast pace due to their special summoning
ability. Currently Psychics are the only decks that
can run "Miracle Synchro Fusion" that can summon a
Fusion monster that lists a synchro as one of its
materials. Since you are playing Psychics you are
running the uber powerful "Ultimate Axon Kicker".
Naturia Exterio would be a good fit for Psychics,
but that's about it.
With Chaos decks running rampant in both Traditional
and Advanced, Psychics stand little chance of
winning, so you will not find them near the top tier
and hence, you will not see this card being played.

King Jay
It's Thursday!
Well good day POJO readers I'm King Jay, and
thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts on
Naturia Exterio. This card is game breaking when
summoned. His summoning is his only issue as he
requires allot of work, and essentially if you've
summoned the two cards needed to the field for his
summon your more then likely already winning the
game. His Attack in on par with the big cards of
todays metagame. This card is playable, but it's not
competitive enough to have a deck focused solely on
summoning it. This would be a great deck to
experiment with using hex-Sealed Fusion Earth to
quickly summon it and lock down the game, but no one
has put the play testing time to make this deck more
then a casual. I think X-sabers with Tecked
hex-Sealed Fusions could be a ground breaking. I
also want to thank all the readers for reading what
I had to say, and thanks to my fellow writers as
well.
