Absolute Crusader, a Monster who really looks as
though he should be a Spellcaster, is a Level 4
Monster, of the Earth attribute, with 1800 attack
and 1200 defense. Now, Absolute Crusader is
essentially the non-XYZ Monster version of
Steelswarm Roach. Crusader allows you to
tribute himself to destroy a Level 5 or higher
Monster when Special Summoned, as opposed to
discarding an XYZ Material Monster. In
comparison alone, if only because it's faster,
albeit a one time thing, I like this more than its
XYZ counterpart.

Absolute Crusader
I don't like this card. It has the same effect as
Thunder King Rai-Oh, but it doesn't have the 1900
ATK, can only hit high-LEVEL monsters (AKA he can't
hit Xyz), and doesn't lock down the opponent's deck.
It's not an optional effect, and it doesn't even
negate the summon.
The only advantage Absolute Crusader has over Rai-Oh
is that Rai-Oh must negate the summon, but cannot
negate an effect that summons, therefore he can't
stop Call of the Haunted or Monster Reborn. And
that's not enough to make him worth running.
1/5 -- stick to the superior Rai-Oh.
Art: A lot of armor.
Fun Fact: Rai-Oh means Thunder King in Japanese.
