Dark
Paladin |
Pain Painter, a Level 2, Zombie type Monster,
with 400 attack and 200 defense, which is all but
irrelevant. This card is also a Dark
attributed, Tuner Monster, and its name is treated
as Plaguespreader Zombie, while face-up on the
Field. This Zombie is a welcome addition to
the Zombie arsenal. Once per turn, you can
target up to two face-up Zombies you control,
present company excluded (perhaps because Pain
Painter is Level 2?) and have their Levels become 2
until the End Phase. Selected Monsters cannot
be used for Synchro Summoning, except for
Zombie-type Synchro Monsters. Not a big deal,
quite good actually, as this adds some speed to the
Zombie Deck. I wouldn't use this instead of
Plaguespreader Zombie, I'd be using both.

Pain Painter
Yes, they made another Zombie Tuner! But
Plaguespreader is usually all you need, so if you
run a Zombie deck, try to get one Pain Painter for
it. Although he can't summon himself in a desperate
situation, he gives you the only reasonable way to
summon Archfiend Zombie-Skull, or even Gachi Gachi
Gantetsu. That's really all there is to say about
Plaguespreader Zombie #2.

Art: Um... no. No.
Fun Fact: Imagine PSZ, Mezuki and Card of Safe
Return at 3.
Tomorrow: What do bottles have to do with anything?
