In keeping with the Dragon/Banishing theme, we
are going to be reviewing Dragon’s Rebirth. This
common trap card does two things for us. One, it
banishes a dragon from the field which can save it
from card effects like Mind Control, Chaos Sorcerer,
Dimensional Prison, and Bottomless Trap Hole
allowing you to special summon that monster with
Escape from the Dark Dimension (if dark) and Return
from the Different Dimension.
The second advantage we get from Dragon’s Rebirth is
to special summon another Dragon from your hand or
preferably from your deck. With all of the powerful
dragons in a dragon chaos deck, it should not be too
hard to bring out a huge fire breathing dragon.
The negative aspect to Dragon’s Rebirth is that it
banishes a monster from play. Yes, a positive is
also a negative. That is the duality of life. We
would like to have monsters in our hand or the
graveyard for use with Darkflare and Lightpulsar
Dragons and Chaos monsters.

The last card of Dragon's Collide week is a
really, good card....broken....maybe..but not
really. Dragon's Rebirth: Target 1 face up Dragon
type monster you control and banish it, and special
summon 1 Dragon type monster from your hand or
graveyard. I cannot say enough how strong of a card
this is. Yes, it's a trap in a triple Mystical Space
Typhoon AND Heavy Storm format, but if you can get
away with it, you can pull off so much. Go into your
battle phase, attack, activate Dragon's Rebirth, get
another, attack again. Your Red Eyes Darkness Metal
Dragon might fall into a Bottomless Trap Hole?
Dragon's Rebirth will get you that one you have in
either your hand or grave. A strong card for an
already strong archtype.

Welcome everyone to today’s CotD! Today we have an
exclusive card to the new Dragon’s Collide structure
deck. This card is technically a -1 or a 2 for 1,
but it can definitely see some play in budget dragon
decks. There really isn’t too much to say about this
card other than if you have the right monster in
your graveyard, like Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon,
it can definitely be game altering into your favor.
As for competitive decks, there really isn’t much
benefit in adding this card to your deck, but can
instead be a hindrance. Short review is short,
but this card is mediocre at best. I can’t really
see anything for this to be abused with.
